i see green! only one is standing tall... 3-4 more are still bent over and just pushing their way out of the soil..

obv i planted them too deep. i stuck them about an inch deep. ones that weren't showing yet i removed a lil dirt from on top of them carefully to help aid mother nature.

i'll start a journal as soon as they are all up and on a couple nodes.

whatapothead - congrats on getting started. I have plans for a warehouse grow too Im just workin on the details right now and I have some questions that ya maybe able to answer. I am looking at places and I am concerned about the landlord and any officials needing to look in on things. I plan to fully enclose all grow related things but still wondering who needs to come look in. Could you give some details on how you came about the space, what the landlord is like, space deminsions, office space, rent, what ways are you able to pay rent, electricity cost, how many amps available, is there AC? thanks for any input on that...

conn... i just found this one online on a local classifieds website. I looked a few before i found this one. I can judge people and read people pretty well so i waited until i found a good spot and a good/ lazy landlord. The one i found is only 18'x26' but had a loft in it as you can see so my veg is going on top the loft and flower chamber will be 9'x15'x 8'tall. which will be my "office" since this is just a straight shop. one walk-in door and a 14' overhead door. the landlord for this is just a guy and girl that run a lil business and when i met him there he was all decked out in business clothes and was like well here you go... any questions... nope... ok thats it. rent on the 1st of the month. by check or cash..

elec is cheap so far. elec and gas are together for mine but i have yet to turn the heater on since i got shops on both sides of me that keep mine at about 60*

AC isn't needed yet since its winter here now or soon to be but in the summer i will have to put one in. will prolly just get a portable one and drill/cut out a slot for exhaust. other shops have window mount ones chopped into the sides of their shop so it doesn't seem to matter what we do to our shops...

amps available i didn't look super close but theres a 220 line and i believe 4-6 20amp breakers with tons of outlets on the walls. = another reason i picked this shop.

and i have a faucet in the shop also... last one i looked at before this one didn't have water in it.. woulda sucked.

lemme know if you need anymore info

wow with a size like that you could easly use 6 to 10 1000 watt lamps...most of those places anyway have 400 watters scattered all over the place for power...

thanks for the info..

thats good you realized the water problem ahead of time and you can pay cash! that could be very useful in the future. 4 - 20amp breakers means you have atleast 100amps to use for the whole place which sounds about right. with that kinda power you could have about 12 1000w on at a time which is the ideal size for my planned setup a day room and a night room will do me well. thanks again for the info and good luck.

maybe i missed what ur referring to... but 4 20amps is 80amps ... not 100.... and you probably wouldn't want to run more than one fan and one 1000w hps off each of those 20amp breakers. 4 20 amps ... 4 1000w HPS.

haven't yet. i am just writing up a time line now. they are on their second nodes now and i don't know if i over watered at first or not but they sure were growing funny. all but one seem to have recovered tho.

i'll post timeline and a link to pics in a sec.

they are about double the size of these pics here now.

well they are on day 12 from coming out of the soil and on their 2nd-3rd node. i guess i didn't think they had been up for that long but i must have over watered to start with since they popped outta the soil then stayed that size for 3-4 days so i'm guessing i'm about 3-4 days behind where i should be. suck.

i'll get some more pictures tomorrow night hopefully. have to go outta town for work but should be able to get in there after i get back.

not too happy with the T8 bulbs seems like i did better with 6 26w CFLs for vegging last time.

but look how goofy they look in those pictures.. the 1st pic is the only one that isn't deformed. like i said all but one have nice new nodes coming along and the one in that last picture looks like it has been topped already so i guess thats not a bad thing.

pics tomorrow and journal tomorrow.

peace

My grow op's are in a commercial building & i have had zero problems with anybody including the power company or neighbors,i own the building so i dont worry about landlords comming by.

Run down commercial properties can be had right now for pennies on the dollar,if a building has a long history of being vacant these are the buildings you want, find the owner & strike a deal to buy the place on land contract with a small down payment & with balloon payments that will allow you to quickly gain full ownership of the property.

Putting together a very successfull high yeilding multi room grow op is much easier in a commercial building over a home, this is not hard to do & requires very little start up funds & zero credit.

I only visit my grow every 2 days & that is if i have time, about half the time its 3 days between visits,as long as they were moist when you left you'll be cool for 4 or 5 days for sure.

yeah id be nice to rent a shop and grow there except the fact that the city is gonna bring by inspectors and inspect every inch of it to ensure sanitary and safeness and there your plants will be discovered will in my opnioin becuase it required of inspection and if you do get cuaght thats some serouis time considering your gonna be growing alot becuase its a shop id think itd be a better idea to reant a room or house from someone
