Yes. You have to have medical records and a doctor's recommend for a very limited list of qualifying conditions. Here's a link to the DOH website. Good luck. :)

Roswell? I hope you're used to heat.

thanks yes I researched it more last night and found out New Mexico is not the place for me as a Medical Patient. I can qualify no problem but waiting at least 3 months for my card to get my meds just won't do, I'd be in the damn hospital for real. This sucks every place I pick has some kind of problem. I have the chance to move any where in the US that I want to live. Of course I want it to be medical and I grow hydro inside and outside a little when I can for hash. First place I checked to live was Cali. Of course it easy to get on out there but it seems like the laws are a lot stricter thre, have wattage laws also. Oregon's laws are changing and not for the good, I was told but don't know for sure. And I think the next best place would be Colorado (where I live now). The only thing I don't like about here is the damn elevation. Any suggestions? :) Scottsdale Arizona maybe

Arizona is in the middle of a war over their Medical Marijuana legislation. I wouldn't even consider it. Maybe you should move to the southwestern area of Colorado. It's beautiful and the elevation varies depending on which town you choose. Durango is around 6500 ft.
