Any experience with CBD Medi-Haze

Has anyone done a grow of CBD Crew's new strain, Medi-haze?
If so, what was your experience with it?

My main question is about the balance of CBD/THC, was there a good expression of CBD?
I did a grow of The Crew's Shark and it produced well, but I feel the balance leaned heavily to the THC side, as I had much anxiety with it.
I suffer with major arthritis and anxiety, and really need CBD.

Also, being a Sativa, what was the finishing height?

Thanks for any help.

I am currently growing some and can tell you it stretches alot but can be controlled with some topping and LST. The smell is Amazing, very much like lemons and mint and there are alot of lab tests out there with the average being about 4% thc like stated and the highest I have seen is 9% thc but the cbd percentage is always more and averages around twice the thc content like stated by the breeder. From what I have been hearing first hand, this would work great for anxiety and shouldn't certainly be capable of creating any, that's for sure.

BlackMesa, thank you for that encouraging news.
I definitely need the cbd at a higher level.
On the "stretch", how high are we talking?
I will have to watch my grow space.
I have only done 2 grows, so I have to ask, what is LST.

Thanks again.

LST Low Stress Training
Okay, thank you, but what is low stress training?
Like I said, pretty much a noob.
I did CBD Crew Shark and that hit about 36", fine for my space.
Fine for my space, but need to know if I need to move it.

All info. is greatly appreciated.

Hey MarWan, thank you.
So do you think I can hold it down to under 5 feet using this method?
It would seem so, plus a little more production.
yes you can keep under 5 feet if you want, if it gets taller you can always tie it down.
I never tried it myself, but I will give it a try with my corrent grow (HSO blue dream, W.W. X og kush, sour deisel,Goji og, good medicine, chem wreck kush).
the results I have seen in some grow journals utilizing the LST method are more than encouraging, at least double the yield of untouched plants.

with topping & LST you can get many tops & more yield.

Very good, sounds good.
Will definitely do it, due to my space limitations.
And extra production to boot.

That's some serious grow you got there

Thanks and happy growing

Black Mesa, I am ready to order, just another question.
I am concerned with odor control. You said it smells like lemons and mint, is it not too skunky?
When I grew Shark, my dog who got skunk sprayed once, went crazy when I turned the exhaust off.
Very skunky.

Thx

I have grown The Crews Shark, and just finished growing Medi-Haze. (Both indoors,in soil, with CFLs) Yes. Shark is a stinker. And due to its Indica heritage, I find it better for evening use before I go to bed. But, from what you said, you are even more sensitive than me to the differences in various meds. I find Medi-Haze is more uplifting than the Shark. But with none of the anxiety that get from a strain such as Thai X Skunk which I grew last yr. which has virtually no CBD. If I us someYummy, along with the Thai, it smoothes the edges out for me. But the MH is now my go to medicine for daytime use. I deal with ADD. No pain issues. So you will need to experiment if it helps you. I hope to test all of my plants, but have no idea yet what the CBD and THC ratio is. MH does not smell a much as Shark, but I recomend a filter all the same. Such a nice smell though.
Regarding height, my indoor MH grew to 85 cm. 33 inches in a 1 1/2 gal. pot. I topped it after 8 wks. and it stretched another 10 inches. I have 2 in a green house which will be harvested in Oct. that are close to 6 ft. Both are in much bigger clay pots, and look like they will be heavy producers compared to my indoor plant.
You also might want to try harvesting a plant first, when most Trichomes are clear, and then some later when more are milky with some amber. Label and store them seprately. Then compare the effect of the two on your anxiety. You may be surprised at the difference. And this will help you in the future. The same strain different ways can have differing effects. Buy a pocket magnifier at Radio Shack for 10 bucks and study your trichomes. It makes a difference.
I know this is a bit late for your grow, but hope it can help you and others in the future. In closing, I recomend Medi-Haze for those who need meds in the daytime, but may be sensitive to too much THC. It works well for mental clarity, stress, anxiety and migraines for me when I vape only 2/10 of a gram. Peace.

Thanks boboman, lots of good info here.
I got a late start, so it is all pertinent to my situation.
Started lst two weeks ago, so it's a new learning curve.
I now have to add cancer to my list of ills.

I'm hoping that the MH will fill the bill for what I need.
I made a tincture with my shark, and am tolerating it well.
I would love to have something that I can vape and get pain relief and sleep.

How did you make your tincture? I have made it with alcohol, but dont like the way it burns the tongue. So I tried making some with glycerine which is sweet, and I enjoy it more. I decarbed the cannabis first, then put it in the glycerine for 24 hrs. (in a jar in a water bath/ yoghurt maker). I am sorry to hear about your cancer. If you are fighting that, one issue is not just relief of pain, but killing the cancer. Making RSO is complicated, though. I have done it, but it takes larger amounts. Something I think you do not have. And if you mess up, you waste your meds. Another cheaper option is to decarb your meds in a dish covered with foil in a baking oven at 120 degrees Celsius for 40 mins. Not longer! Not hotter!Do this in the center of the oven. Then, when its cool, simply crumble it up. Eat this with pudding, apple sauce , yoghurt etc. before bed. I use 1/10 of gram, just 1/8 of teaspoon. This is good for sleep, good against the cancer, and it wont mess you up since you are asleep. Eating it last longer than vaping or smoking, so it makes sense to use t when you are asleep. If you dont mind I would be happy to pray for you, that you will come out of this fight stronger, and healthy again. You wont be the first, or last person I pray for on my list.

Hey Boboman, thanks for the good thoughts and good karma.
Just visited my girls, go every three days, my automation is good.
I made my tincture with decarbed bud in everclear 190 proof
I let it evaporate for a few days to concentrate.
I mix it with water but it still tastes like gear oil and paint thinner.
I am hoping it will help the "C".
When the medi haze comes in, I will also try to vape some,
I am hoping it will give more of a direct hit, for pain and sleep, without the anxiety.
I am definitely gonna try 1 early harvest and see how that goes.
To your health.
