Any Canadian Growers?

Very nice Spilly1. I'm just cutting down myself and I see not a lot but there are some buds that have mould on them. Mostly on the greenthumb iranian OG kush that I have. How does the PK look overall? Will it make it through the next few days of rain that we are having along the coast? Do you think now that you have grown it, that it is a good plant for the coastal islands outdoors? Would you recommend it?

Well, the ones I have were started pretty late and I have them in pretty small pots so they didn't veg very long or grow very big (which was what I was aiming for this year). Apparently the strain itself tends to more grow bushier than tall anyhow. I have a LOT of seeds still, next year I'm going to do things a little different next year, but yeah I'd definitely recommend this variety.

Plus the seed came from a grower on quadra island and he's been growing this strain outdoors for years up there so yeah it's weather tested.

Mine are undercover, rain shouldn't be an issue.

Yeah, I wasn't impressed. I wanted to get some fresh sea food, the visitor center sent us to some pub right by the harbour. I could have got the same food back home. Didn't see or smell anyone smoking weed. Over all it seemed like a pit..no offence.
no offence taken, i lived there for all of a month and a half in the summer lol. I just happened to be on the water alot and seen whales and eagles lol. That pub by the pier is crap, the guy that owned it when i was there lost the place for selling booze to minors and after hours.
I did smoke alot of good weed, blueberry, when i was there. who knows where it came from tho, and it was pricey.

My 3 purple kush autos, 2 blue mystic auto, they got mold, lost 80% of the budzz, i think they were a little too protected from the wind. They also had caterpillars. The buds they had very VERY loose.

I just chopped down one of my skywalker kush and it is the strongest smelling plant I have smelt. I am running a double filter to try to keep the smell down.
Hey Nuikala I am in Ontario and have not had a frost warning yet. You must be a little north of me. Over all thou this has been a bad summer for growing. Late spring and cool summer now fall is early.

At 46 latitude we had a bad frost about five days ago, everything is still alive but doesn't have the same lushness to it that it did before the -6 celcius overnight.

Hi fellow Canadians. This is my first post and I want say hi. I hope Im not the only one with plants in the ground, this thread has been quiet for a few days.
This is my plant. It is a 6' beauty that is as wide as she is tall. She is starting to fill out. Im hoping 2 more weeks but its probably more like 3-4.

Thought I would share and bring this thread back to life.2014-09-28 10.10.54.jpg 2014-09-28 10.10.54.jpg

I am so sad. My largest Kush got bod rot and I lost half of her. I decided to chop and start the drying or I could lose the whole plant and my others. I decided to take down all 3 Kush. I still have one skunk and she is a ways from ready so she goes into the garage at night and out into the light if it's not raining. I don't want to lose her to bud rot as well cause she is gonna be the best of the bunch. So if I didn't get to put her out for a few days will it matter? I am an outdoor grower, no lights no set up for anything inside. I want to make sure she goes ll the way and turns out great. I will take some pictures of her.

I chopped one of my PKs three days ago, just about dry enough to start the cure. Letting the other PK and the mystery plant go another few days. Happy harvesting my fellow Canadians.

  1. Well all my skywalker kush are down and drying. Also my incredible bulk are down too now. I was unsure of how this one would yield. But the name holds true. The nuggets are huge with a great fruity smell. I will be buying more of those seeds next year. It was started late (June) and I still got roughly 4 oz

Now if my texada time warp will only get on track and finish up I will be happy. The weather seems to be great for the next two weeks so I should be trimming before I get a first frost here

I have a sneaking suspicion my mystery plant is Timewarp , and it's finishing really slow too
