Think I'm gonna wait another week then start flower nutes. These should have some stretch left before flower. Hopefully almost double in size maybe a half of what it is now when its done :bigjoint:

Okay what do you guys think? Tomorrow is exactly 8 weeks for my fast and vast and that's what the breeder says. Now I was originally going to wait untill week ten but the leaves are all yellowing and I think it's almost done atleast the tops. I know the breeders usually exaggerate the times but maybee they got it right for once. Should I let them go another two weeks? The trichs are mostly cloudy but very ver few Amber here and there.
looks really ripe doesn't it? maybe the breeder is spot on with that one?

10,000lumens 6500k ...I realize 6500k is mainly for growing and veg but these are autos would it make much difference?either way ill give it a go and if it doesn't work the first time well enough the second time I try ill grow under the T5 for half the grow then place outside in

Up to you. I start to finish mine with 600w hps. With great results. They respond better with around 2700k spectrum during budding process. But can still produce with the higher (blue) range, just not as much

Let dry out real good for an extra day or two after the soil needs watering, then will be perfect for cropping in my opinion.

Thanks for the reply. It might have to go another five days because thats when my caliber hygrometers come in and that also happens to be my next day off. I'll just have to keep the soil dry untill then I guess.

If you have a RadioShack get a USB microscope or order one off ebay for uber cheep. I have a jewelers loupe. Cant help other than that unless you can see some amber trichomes with your naked eye. If so chop those buds and let the rest keep going. Better to be over waiting and get the swelled plant weight than to cut her flowers off too early and have a hand size nug that weighs a gram. Been there done that.

Do you do partial harvests? I heard negative things about it, but I was thinking about doing it with my fast and vast to let the bottom fill out more.
Yep I'm going to check her other flowers this morning and hopefully make some harvests. I grow many plants and from what I've noticed about nightshades is they a spoty in ripening. I'll harvest tomatoes and peppers for weeks for instance. The bud's swell up with resin in their last two weeks before the thc degrades to less psychoactive molecules. Let the plant impress you for a week or two and then take a look at trichomes. Jewelers loupes are like 3$ on ebay.

If I had to guess, Im pulling about an ounce off one of these ww autos. Mind as well pop some more while summer is here. The vertigos are just vegging out still and IV got some disgusting looking bagseeds flowering. Like, seriously terrible looking genetics. Hopefully they will out morbecause it looks like someones failed science experiment. Well, back on track of auto flowers. I'm letting these flowers dry in the airy and shadey woods. Mmmm ww hash mmmmmm delightful to have for my bday next month

I think she knows she doesn't have much time left lol. I cut off just one bud so I could test out my new drying area before I hang the whole plant in there. Ever since then my carbon filter can't keep up she's smelling stronger than ever and I took that cut about 10 hours ago. I'll let the rest go another five days.
