Ants in my pants! *Plants

She’s looking good but with two weeks to go, I’m spraying with mild Monterey because I saw caterpillars on other plants BUT I’m for sure seeing ants! DO TOU PICK THE ONES THE DIE OFF BY HAND? AND ANYTHING I CAN DO TO MAKE THEM STOP MARCHING UP THE PLANT?
Cinnamon does not work for me. fyi

Are these in pots?

If so, lift the pot, sometimes the little bastards start a nest in the soil.
If you water and see them scurry out of the bottom of the pot they’re in there.

I’ve put Vaseline on the stem (no pun intended), diatomaceous earth and citrus peels on the top of the soil surface with decent results.

We have a product here called “ant rid” it’s a liquid like honey with something else in it that the ants take back to the queen and it kills her.


Hopefully you can take them out!
