Good morning everyone. Mondays....

Anyways, lets get on with the updates!

We really don't have too much exciting going on as they're continuing to bud.

Lights are still the same distance of 14" above the canopy.
They're both being fed as follows:
5ml Micro
2.5ml Grow
5ml Bloom
5ml Magnum
150g Sonic Bloom
5ml G10
5ml Snow Storm Ultra
30ml Killer Tea

We have switched the girls from the 5ml of Crystal Burst (0-15-15) to 150 grams of Sonic Bloom (0-51-34)

Both girls:

Gotta run! I hope you all have a great week :bigjoint:

Looking on point man, nice and healthy :)

Man, how do you keep your lights at 14 inches above? I can't get mine any closer than 18 without bleaching the tops in the middle. The buds still get pretty thick though so I'm not upset. For the tiny area that I have, the 300 works a treat. Quality over quantity for sure!

When I start seedlings or clones, I usually start the light at 24". I keep a close on on the little ones for the first few days, several times a day to make sure they're not burning, bleaching, etc.. Once they're comfortable with the light distance, that's my baseline. For this example, let's say it's 24". During this time that they're growing, and the light is at 24", I let them grow, and don't adjust the light. When the little ones gain a couple inches, I move the light back to 24".

Once they're about the 2-4 week mark, having a few nodes, but are still pretty short.. 6-8" tall or so, this is when I really get aggressive.

I let the plant go about a week, Lets say in that week, the plant started at 24", but at the end of the week, we reach a distance of 20", meaning the plant grew 4". I adjust the light, but only back to 22". The following week, lets say they reach 18", when I adjust the light I only move it up to 20". I keep doing this every week or two, keeping an eye on them daily to make sure there's no bleaching or burning, and I continue the process. If they present problems, I move the light back to the last reset point, which in this example was 20", so I move it back up to 20", and then try 18" the following week.

If I remember correctly, this process was called hardening. It's been working for me since I started doing it, with CFL, as well as LED lighting. Give it a whirl some time!

Good morning!

We're on another fun update.

The lights are still sitting at 14".

Feed schedule is still:
5ml Micro
2.5ml Grow
5ml Bloom
5ml Magnum
150g Sonic Bloom
5ml G10
5ml Snow Storm Ultra
30ml Killer Tea

Both ladies are turning out to be right about the same height.

P450 is showing strong cola growth, and is now 33" tall.

P300 is doing great, with a pretty flat canopy, and is now an average of 32" tall, but one cola is sitting at 34"

Good morning everyone!

The ladies are still on the same diet, and the same light distance. So we haven't made any changes since last week.
They do seem to be drinking a lot more. I normally don't pay much attention to watering frequency, but out of curiosity, and to share with you all, I'm going to check in when I water next. I watered this morning with the usual 1 gallon per pot.

They're both growing quite happily, and I've just been seeing bud growth. The P450 has really shot up some nice colas, where the P300 has remained pretty level, with smaller colas growing within the canopy.

Both of our happy ladies:

Today is day 49 of 12/12. 7 weeks in flower so far.
I'm still feeding, as we're really not seeing any pistils starting to change color.

Feed schedule is still the same, minus Grow.
5ml Micro
5ml Bloom
5ml Magnum
150g Sonic Bloom
5ml G10
5ml Snow Storm Ultra
30ml Killer Tea

The girls are drinking a gallon of water ever 4 days. Today we're increasing to 1.5 gallons, we'll see how long that lasts them.

Here are both girls;

Happy Monday everyone.

We're at 8 weeks of 12/12 today. 56 days. We're probably going to have about 2-4 weeks left until the chop.

The girls were drinking a gallon of water every 3 days, so we've upped them to 1.5 gal each, and they're crushing that in 5 days now.

The last feeding was this past Thursday, and they were fed the same schedule as last week:
5ml Micro
5ml Bloom
5ml Magnum
150g Sonic Bloom
5ml G10
5ml Snow Storm Ultra
30ml Killer Tea

I'm guessing we'll have 1 or 2 more feedings, then we'll start the flush.

Both girls:
0829160811.jpg
P450 is really building a few very nice colas:
0829160811a.jpg 0829160812.jpg 0829160812b.jpg
P300 is growing more, but smaller colas:
0829160811b.jpg 0829160812a.jpg 0829160813.jpg
Both plants are packing on weight. I've had to support multiple branches, and it looks like I'll need to add more support as they fatten up.

Today is week 10 of 12/12 (Day 70), and our first day of flushing.

1.5 gallons of water each.

They should have been watered yesterday, but I'm in the middle of a ton of projects at home as usual, and completely forgot.

I also received a request on another site for some normal lighting pictures, so I've included those here as well.

Both girls:
0905160802.jpg
P450:
0905160802a.jpg 0905160803.jpg 0905160803a.jpg
P300:
0905160804.jpg 0905160804a.jpg 0905160805.jpg

They both look and smell great, and they're both pretty top heavy, so the sagging branches saga continues.

We're looking at 2-3 weeks until chop.

And for anyone curious, my next grow will be a seed grow, and I'm planning on using Miracle Grow for that one.

I figure so many new growers choose the readily available nutrient option, that I might as well give it a whirl and see what happens.

I hope you al have a great week, and for any US neighbors, I hope you all have a nice relaxing holiday.

Happy Monday folks!

Somehow I miscounted, Today is day 70. I blame the calendar lol

We're still flushing, and they're still doing their thing. Trichomes are looking about half cloudy at this point, I run until I have 5% Amber minimum, usually 10-20% though.

They're both top heavy, and constantly leaning one way or another. The entire grow, I thought the P300 plant was doing better than the P450, but once they started stretch under 12/12 I was amazed in the difference.
I'm really looking forward to harvest, I'm curious what the difference in yield will be.

Day 77, and we chopped them both down today. The branches were constantly falling over, and neither plant could support itself. While doing my initial trim, I noticed a few areas of botrytis starting. Which I'm not at all happy about. We had a ridiculously hot and humid summer this year, and I'm sure that was a huge contributor.

All buds have been washed, and I'll keep an eye out for any problems while they dry. As it stands now, the 450 definitely outperformed the 300, so im happy with that. I would guess 5-6 ounces minimum from the 450. It looks like 3-4 from the 300.

I'm just hoping we don't lose anything before the final weigh in. Or at least nothing significant..

Have a great week everyone.
