So im attempting to get an antec1200 v3 to do a stealth grow in.
www.antec.com/product.php?id=705225&fid=5022022&lan=nz

Iv done tomatoes.. with a 600w hps in a normal setting before with glorious results, I no longer have the room right now...thought this would be fun to create, more fun to use.

So im getting the case on the cheap.

Do to the price, and size I thought this might be a decent start.
I will have to correct alot of light leaks do in part to all the fans in front, but thats ok with me.

Im going to gut it completly.

Light proof it. Any ideas On the best way to light proof those holes in the front where the fans are?

Hang one 100w blackstar ufo in it, along with several 23?..47? Depending on the heat, cfls in it, temp appropriat. Using a timer.
Or should I go for two ufos? and one cfl?

Going to heat trap it with some cut to fit plexi glass right under the lights, pulling the heat out using two pc fans with a carbon filter between them. Powered by an adapter I got at frys to run pc fans via wall socket.

Paint the interrior flat white? Or mylar? Not sure, whats yalls opinion on that?

Hang a temp gauge in there.
Hand a small power strip in there so I only have one cable coming out of the back.

One shallow rectangle pot to lst and scrog, moving it up and down using who knows what yet.

Any thoughts and opinions will be very appriciated.

Thanks for taking the time

Flat white will keep the heat down more than mylar, although the latter is more efficient. I'm not positive on this one, but I think mylar is light proof, so just line up the walls of the tower with some mylar.

Lovely choice for the PC case, nice and tall perfect for micro grows.

As for light proofing the intake/exhaust ports, you could attack some PVC elbows that have been painted black, although that will take up space on the inside. I assume stealth is a must?

P.S. you don't have to use all the fan ports. Just hook up the two back ones for a passive intake. Less light leakage to deal with and less noise. The heat shouldn't be that much of an issue since you're using plexi glass and led lights.

Thanls for the thoughts.
I went with flat white with primer rattle can.

I got a 4 pack of 2700k 100 watt cfls, with connectors that i can plug into a power strip essentially creating a ballast.
Next paycheck I will add the UFO to the mix.

The case itself is a lttle difficult to dissasemble, alot of rivits in weird places.

As far as fans go, I rigged up two 120mm pc fans sandwhiching two hallowed out 120mm fan cassings that contain activated carbon. Im going to block and light proof all other fans that came with the case.

Stealth isnt a must...but I would prefer it it, also I like the challange.

I will start taking taking pictures of the project for others to get ideas with.

So far including the case, pc fan adapters, pc fans, plexi aclric,lights...not including the UFO,power strips, and timer im invested for about 100$.

It would be less however if a "friend" didnt take off with ALL of my original equipment(600w hps,150w hps, centerfuge fan,3 timers, rockwool pack, gh start park, 100$ ph pen, two loupes, 120w t5, and a partrig in a pear tree).. not gonna let it get me down though.
