Thats not really all that sophisticated. the cops are just so stupid they think that hydro is way technical, its not.

Generally the media and the cops consider large indoor setups sophisticated because of lack of education. When most people think of growing plants, the last thing that would come to mind is ph levels, filling resivors, nutrient levels, etc. Although the technology itself is not extremely complex, the understanding of light levels, flowering times, and all the information you need to know to grow premium stuff brings a specialized sophistication to your setup. Also, being able to apply the knowledge and experience to your grow setup to maximize output while at the same time minimize your footprint (both spacewise and energywise) makes a good indoor grow project "sophisticated".
