try an aero cloner. Much easier. My bubble cloner was a failure 3 times. My aero.cloner was a failure the first time. The 2nd time I made some changes and its been 100%

get the aero cloner on amazon. Make sure to have air stones in that one too. Air stones prevent slime and add o2. Frozen water bottles in cloner / resi to keep water cool. 15 min timer so the pump doesn't get to hot and clones dont drown. Treat it like a flower aero kit.

don't give up, its too easy. I only use a gel to keep the cuts from getting an air embolism(limp cut and shriveling leaves are a sign of loss of turgor). after a week, dump res and add back plain water. 30 cuts in from my first bubbler, and haven't lost one. water temps as low as 65 and no probs. you need plenty of bubbles as well. over due it when it comes to air stones. mist them 3x a day first week, and use a dome too. :leaf:

I think I have found out what the problem mite be. The water level had gone down so I have added more water just hope that they bounce back x

I tried a bubble cloner and didn't have great success. It was a design of my own and I think i had too much water and too much bubbling which kept the stems too wet, i kept getting stem rot. I went down to one small air stone and dropped my water level to just barely cover my air stone and it got better. I was in a shallow tub, maybe 2" deep, I think a deep container, 6"+ deep, would have kept the cutting away from the water better. I managed to clone a couple but gave up on it..I'm going to an aero setup, but copying a proven design.

I also keep getting stem rot and I was told you don't need a domb or to spray the clones when using a bubble cloner

You really shouldn't need a humidity dome on a bubble or aero cloner, you want the leaves to transpire so they are forced to uptake moisture through the stem. Running the air pump on a cycle timer might help, it will give some wet/dry cycles rather then keeping the stems wet continuously.

Hey man try making an aero cloner very cheap and I get just about 100% success with rooting gel and a little clonex in tap water. I don't ph at all or even look at the water for a week. I don't mist or use a dome. All you need is a 5 gallon bucket. An air pump with stone a 200 gph pump with some 1/2 pvc with 2 misters. They are limp the first 3 hours and then perk right up and reach for the light. You don't need a lot of light. By 10 days all should have roots. Good luck nd don't give up ull get it.

It's been six days now still no roots hope it starts foarming some by tomorrow also the stem aren't that thick on my clones could that be a reason why i have been having trouble rooting. Also how long does it usally take for roots to start if i use soil i usaally get roots in seven days people have told me that they get roots faster with the bubbler so don't know what im doing wrong unless it's the stem thickness thanks for the replys so far every one

Back again so this time i mite have sussed it out. The stem at the top of my clone is thin as when i cut it but the bottom of the stem is fatter and has what look like really tiny prickles on it could this be the roots foarming just the tip of the cutting is in the water and i let the bubbles splash the rest. thanks again every one
