CXA 3070 Z4 3000K at 1400ma and I have 6 total,3 over each plant in a 2.5'x4.5' cabinet.

I blame Supra and his DIY thread for making me do this,I couldn't help myself.
Much of the info that I'll post is thanks to Supra and other contributors in his thread.
I ordered parts for 4 of these and have most of the parts now,so it's time to start the thread.

I pulled 514 grams off the first two plants in 5 gal pots under these with a shorter than normal veg time,it would be nice to top that.

Is there any consensus here on RIU in the LED section about how we should report watts per sq/ft? My COB's are pulling about 52 watts each but should I be including what the driver and cooler fan pull? I've been including them in my sq/ft number.

I think they are components that make up the LED and the grow room...so yes...in my opinion. I use all power used that makes up a grow.

Put my killowatt meter on on my CXA's and the 6 are pulling 388 watts for the COB's,drivers,fan PSU and cooler fans.

that sounds right. I think mine is over 500w at the plug for the 3 fixtures including fans etc but I am driving 10 vero18.. I need a kilowatt meter. so easy...LOL

my next fixture will be cree CXA or vero 29

In a commercial panel you wouldn't separate the fans and drivers from the total wattage, I feel they should be included. I dont have a kill-a-watt anymore but I would even include my 5v PWM circuit to control the 4-wire fans as it is all part of the lighting system.

Mine draw about 60 w each and about 2 w for each ps for fans, 8 fans per ps. (killowatt readings)
16 3070's = 960w (meanwell drivers at 1400ma)
2 fan psu's= 4w
over a 6x6= 26.77 w sq ft.

HID growers do not include cooling fan watts and AC watts.
