Just another horror story in the making with thanks to Mr. Free Enterprise................

http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/dhp-mps/compli-conform/info-prod/drugs-drogues/api-ipa-eng.php

Must be pretty bad if the current regime is jumping on it.

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/life/health-and-fitness/health/health-canada-bans-imports-of-some-indian-drugs-over-safety-fears/article20873821/

But the Toronto Star investigation suggested Health Canada’s attempt to ban imports from the facility was ignored by the company and that the now-banned drugs continued to be sold in Canadian pharmacies.

Damn I have and am currently taking 1 drug from each of the 3 banned categories.
Well does anyone know what exactly I can expect to die of or from?

It may not cause actual death, but as yourself, I found that I am also taking one of the beta blockers. Just check your prescription bottle for the DIN number and cross reference with the numbers on the list. I have been sharing with my doctor for almost a year that I have a suspicion that the one or more of the drugs I am currently prescribed has inconsistent results/effects after I have taken them. Some instances led to a very 'ill' feeling. This press release just 'sealed' the deal for me. I printed the list and dropped it off to my physician yesterday asking that we find an appropriate substitute, we had already spoken of my switching off that drug. This information leaves a greater feeling of urgency.
If you really want to freak yourself out, go to the FDA website that documents the 'practices' of these facilities in India. The FDA has complaints dating back to 2006. Apparently last year the FDA did an inspection with a 'thumbs down' result, Health Canada went in later and said everything was fine. The FDA did an inspection afterwards which refuted the Health Canada claim. Their drugs are still not allowed into the U.S.A. I do not find this hard to believe as the company has facilities in Canada and Harpo and Co. are not people friendly. Money friendly yes, people friendly.......very questionable. The only reason that the present crooks in Ottawa jumped on the 'bandwagon' was due to the release of the FDA documents to the general public via the Star (thestar.com) and their journalistic investigations.
Also for your perusal.....

Apparently the company that made this drug was housed near the same 'region' as these other facilities......

It's not too much of stretch to possibly 'connect the dots'.....

Cheaply made Pharma crap!!!.

Boils down to 100% pure greed! At the expense and death of people who make them rich with the idea of getting better. :hump:

 now they're screeming at HC
They don't have a leg to stand on. They make in India because its CHEAP
OUR PRODUCT ISNT CHEAP Just we are >

Funny watching HC argue with the same idiots that make them rich. I'd give anything to be a fly on the wall of their meeting...

Apotex to HC "we're not going to sell drugs to you anymore"
HC to Apotex.........we'll do anything you want!!

And why is there no recall? An LP sent out something that had something on it (still a mystery) and it was recalled. Was that all just for show? HC is on the job making sure that the poison I mean medicine you use is safe for consumption (human??) It's one hell of a list of so you can be assured that unless people are getting sick they 're not going to be pulled. But the bad marijuana needs to be in a level 7 security facility, behind a 10" vault door with 6 feet of concrete surrounding it because it might hurt the children. But no worries we're all safe from that evil little plant.

There is no recall as they (the govt) knows the truths would surface and they would look even worse.......lol....mind you that would prove next to impossible. But in their hallucinatory fantasy world they'd be 'cast' under an unfavourable light......And Ambrose appears to be somewhat 'challenged' in regards to conversational abilities......

Here is the FDA inspection results.....a 'dry read' but obviously our government isn't doing its job so one must research and advocate on their own behalf and spread the word.....
http://www.fda.gov/ICECI/EnforcementActions/WarningLetters/2014/ucm401451.htm

Here is the less scientific, more reader friendly version......
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2014-06-17/apotex-manipulated-data-at-india-drug-plant-fda-says.html

And look at the date of the Bloomberg article........June.......and the drugs were banned in April in the U.S. A........ but we Canadian lemmings/guinea pigs are treated like mushrooms......kept in the dark and fed shit....lol

An excerpt from a Star article......
The regulator (Health Canada) provided the Star little detail of its visit but a spokesperson said Health Canada gave a thumbs-up to Apotex for its manufacturing of tablets and capsules.

Seven months before this inspection, and again four months after, the FDA went to the same site in India. The U.S. inspectors uncovered blatant and repeat problems at the plant.

The American inspectors watched as an Apotex quality control microbiologist wrote over documents detailing a bacterial contamination test “using a black marker in order to make it appear that the growth promotion testing had been performed” on an earlier date.

No problem, you're welcome.
The DIN # on your prescription bottle may not have the zero in front of it, mine didn't, it only had the last 7 numbers, really small, in the lower right corner. But not all scripts are printed alike.

and it went exactly as I said it would..

HC Balked and Apotex bought them out.
Third party testing?
That's what our HC and government tells us when money is on the table. Truth is.. One more person says "Its'OK" and they get paid by HC to say so!
Apotex gets to poison patients continually this way.

Awesome government we have eh!?!?! :hump:
