Best of luck bro, your defo gonna need to invest a little bit of money if you want to flower them..... a cheap grow is fairly handy to do but a 100% free grow indoors is impossible.

The cheap Co2 rig (sugar an yeast) is kinda pointless.....used to do it myself..... used to do anything if I thought it would help my girls grow fast and strong.... The tiny amount of Co2 produced from the sugar/yeast is negligible and really not worth your time.... what is worth your time and a little bit of money is -

one of these---

and one or two of these

They really cost very little, and any small amount of money you invest in your grow will pay for itself 10 fold with bud.

Your seedlings are starting to stretch for light so can certainly have your bulbs a bit closer to them... not while your away for a couple of days though or they may grow into the bulb

Hope it all falls into place for ya :weed:

I'm on my phone and that process does not work lol and no access to a computer.... Also you would be surprised at how handy I can be but yes I imagine at some point a little money will have to go in it and I have my eyes set on some 65 actual watts / 300 watt equivalent 10 for 100$ 2700k and they push 5200 lumens each O.O

And yea stretching a little they were in the window for the first 3days now lights are about 4" away since im gonna be gone for about day an a half

keep the cfls 2"-4" from the leaves all the way through veg, i used 5 23w cfls and my plants are good at 7 weeks old although small but real healthy (i dont have much height space)

Yea wish it was that simple for me lol so have a hood now for my bulbs (0$) used a box some tape and poster board with a mylar emergency blanket for reflection goal is to fill it with ten 55watt cfls. And nutrients can be added in about the third week of growth correct? (still need a couple fans also but yet to have spent any money)

*******NO OFFENSE INTENDED!!!!!******

BAD IDEA!!!!!

1.First off the chances that you'll find DECENT quality 65 watt cfls for $10 a piece is PRETTY slim.

2. Second, 10 65 watt cfls are going to make your closet at least 100 degrees! At 18 hours on a day, you'll melt the plastic housing, especially with limited ventilation, and you get more lumens per watt with smaller wattage cfls (1 65 watt 2600k spectrum puts off roughly 5000 lumens, about 77 lumens per watt. 1 26 watt 2600k spectrum cfl puts off about 2400 lumens, about 92 lumens per watt)

3. Third, for roughly the same price ($100) you can get a 150 watt hps which will have WAY BETTER canopy penetration, spectrum, and heat dispersion; spend $160 and you can get a dimmable 600 watt MH/HPS ballast with a cool tube, reflector, timer, yo-yo hangers, and 2 bulbs...

4. Fourth, if you're trying to grow "free", but are willing to spend $100 on lights why are you willing to burn so much electricity on inefficient bulbs?

5. Fifth:
isqrr.gif
INVERSE SQUARE LAW IS WHAT SHOWS YOU THAT CFLS LOSE MORE THAN 75% OF USABLE PHOTONS AT ABOUT 4.5 INCHES

long story short, buy the HPS, you'll be thankful in the end!

FrozenChozen is dead right bro.

also....
Did ya know that statistically 100% of people who use cardboard hoods for their lights die slow agonizing deaths due to a raging fire caused by said cardboard hood mysteriously erupting into flames?
.......or possibly not, but do be safe bro, a lot of grows go up in flames caused by lighting or dodgy wiring.

Best of luck.

Under surface is still cool to the touch even after 3days 24/7 lights on believe im taking precautions yes its not optimal but the mylar blanket helps but its carefully watched temps stay between 76-81 in there now but imagine once I put more lights ill have to modify my hood thx for looking out though
