An outlaw's journal

Stomping?-----no, not at all. I enjoy hearing from other growers----especially ones that have experience with larger grows (more than I have ever done). After all, as the title reads "An outlaws journal."

These forums are closest I've ever come to get to talk shop with "serious growers".

Yes, how the attitudes about weed have changed over the years----thank god (whatever god is).

I am really enjoying this particular thread and glad to hear you don't mind other sharing their stories. I stopped coming on this site as much because I felt it turned into newbie central with many people who want to argue what "they read" which I have no time for. Glad to see a group of well known members, besides me hahaha don't know why I am not a well known member only been using this site since 2011. I will post a pic later of my grow room to prove I know my shit. Anyways really enjoy hearing the stories and all the creative genius ideas from long time growers

Wow----what a story.

Plumbing, electrical and HVAC skills----all the hard parts taken care of to set up a grow room / greenhouse------added with a little plant knowledge and away we go.

Your friend sounds like a man of integrity for not ratting you guys out-----very rare these days.

Enjoyed reading your post,

My friend is a man of the utmost integrity who I would do anything for since he showed the type of person he was. It's funny because I only decided on those trades at the time because they made the most money. Little did I know I would be setting myself up to be a one stop grow op builder

Ya want a job?
5 years ago I would have probably took you up on that offer, but a few years ago I decided that packing up shop and moving out west to live among like minded people wasn't gonna benefit all of the people I know on the east coast. So I started becoming an activist and joined up with the people already fighting the good fight to change things and after years of fighting it looks like by the end of the year we will have a legal market to enter which I absolutely cannot wait for because I need to be doing this for a living. I have 3 million raised already to jump right into it big time. I would like though if I fly out there to do some research to maybe check out what you have going on .

Some pics of my setup. The glasses are the shit haha my eyes were starting to get fucked up so I needed them , I don't know if anyone else rocks them but I recommend
SWEET!!!!!!

Very interesting way of mounting lights----do you keep up with your g/w yield?

I feel lazy now. I didn't see what those pretty ladies are in though----what kind of system?

You have lots of nice toys to play with---really liked that meter, and I need some of those glasses.

I've only been actively posting here the last 7 or 8 months (member since 07)

What eastern state?

Thanks. Yeah I unfortunately am battling 7 ft ceilings so I switched the lights to that way allowing the plants to grow taller and not be in the lights burning and I have seen my yields increase a little but virtually no crap buds all nice dense sticky buds. I still maintain a lb at least per 1000 W. I run 2- 1000 W Phantoms and those are 13 gallon buckets with sprayers inside spraying towards the top allowing water to drip down. Water chiller, RO system, House and Garden Nutrients, CO2 levlels constantly at 1500 ppm, water temps constant at 68. I usually do 4 plants but this run is only 3 but they vegged for almost 2 months and those pics are the start of week 4 of flower so they still have over a month to go and have taken over the entire 7 ft by 7 ft room. Those 3 ladies are all from seed they are THCBomb , Burmese Kush, and C-99. Yeah I have all the toys I love spending my money on my room haha. I highly recommend the glasses they make working in the room easier and easier to notice something on the leaves in HPS lights...Pa

Yea, that 7' ceiling is a bummer-----that's why in my last location I set the ceiling height at 9'-----and that was just barely enough.

I really like your work around for the lighting-----kinda semi vertical grow with reflectors.

Have you ever tried scorg and your lights on movers?

I hear you about glancing at a meter and know what going on in the nute soup----biggest gripe I have about the tri-meters I have-----some of the connections are hard wired-----resulting in having to buy a whole damn meter if one goes bad.

Of the strains you listed----I've only grown the c99----I like that citrus smell and smoke.

2 months is about how long I like to veg under 1Ks hps-----I chose hps because IMO, the intensity more that compensated for the spectrum.

I could do a vertical under a seven foot ceiling very easily. I do like the tilted reflector compromise, but I'm telling you right now that you're losing more than you're gaining with those sealed and ventilated hoods.

I just recently switched to running both MH and HPS through out. You guys think pick one or the other? Also want to switch to CMH but will have to wait until next fall. Planning on doing another epic outdoor if I can lol.

I think you should change your lights to COB LED, especially if your electricity costs are high.
