Am i better off with two lights and higher heat or one light and lower temps?

Because he probably completely clueless as to how good autoflower bud can be these days. My last autoflower crop was some of the tastiest green ive ever smoked. People are too quick to judge.
I would really be interested in his reasons. I really have not made up my mind if they are worth my time re my outdoor grows. I've only grown one true auto so have no clue if they are good enough yet. The one I did grow (pandora) was a nice producer but not impressed with the quality. If I wasn't on the verge if running out she'd be oil material.

People are deffo to quick to criticise !! If it works that's cool. What's cash crop like? I used to do jacky White and green poison both great cash croppes

Every new grower should grow an auto right beside their photo plants so they get hands on experience when harvest time rolls around.

And auto's can produce 2-4 zips as mentioned, to each his own. Don't be a hater, unless you're in the politics forum, in which case hate is required. :)

Ive not grown it before myself but a mate has an it was lovely dank bud. Compact frosty nugs, just how you want it. Green poison sounds tasty.

That sounds great never heard of it before ! Yeah green poison is a super producer 70% indica 30% sativa really spicy and flowery at the same time . Flowers in about 56 days and you get large solid frosty buds! ;) you can get the seeds from sweet seeds. I'm trying critical mass at the moment under these new 600w LEDs hope it going to work out !

High temps can be offorded with good co2 enrichment otherwise I would stick to one light

He died three months ago, gonna miss him!
I used to have ferrets, several of them. I loved them to death, I did- which never took very long. They only live three or four years. I got mine as adults from the vet, who got them as rejected pets from owners who couldn't keep them.

Now I have a daschund/JRT and he's ten.

1 light and get it as close as possible. Put a fan between light and canopy and find a way to manage temps.
Heat is the death of flowers. You'll end up with a fluff plant :(
Co2 is a great way to "deal" with temps. Look it up if you don't know.

Why not just add an LED light instead of another heat-producing HPS light? I'm having real good luck with my Area51 light and it doesn't add any heat at all.

Yep that's right LEDs try the marshydro from eBay I'm using them at the moment they are cheap! 600w they look graat haven't done a full grow yet but looks promising

One light. Ur growing autos, the quality is already diminished with the ruderalis (however u spell that) gene in it. So u will def have shwag on ur hands with 2 lights

Yo, basically, ive had a heat issue with my house since i started using an extra lamp. Ive got 12 cash crop seedlings autoflowers in 11 litre soil buckets, under 1x600w HPS lamp in a 2.4mx1.2m tent.

Now, when they start flowering i want to hook up my other 600 lamp aswell but when ive got them both running the temps hit 39 degrees celsius and thats really the lowest i can get at the moment with my current situation.

If i flower under just one lamp i will get temps of about 30 degrees Celsius. I understand both are too hot, but am, i better off flowering them all under the one lamp with lowest temp or both lamps with highest. Am i likely to see much of a yield difference seeing as it may be cancelled out by the raise in temps???
I think that you should stick with the 1 lamp. If you opt for (2), then consider deferring the heat out of the tent with and exhaust fan and some ductwork.

Nice one guys, as soon as i move house i will be able to have a more normal temperature and il have a way of extracting without making the neighbours suspicious. All about getting two lights on, two lights is in theory double the yield! I have the space for it, so need to do it really.
