All The Progress Made On Marijuana Legalization Could Vanish With A New President

This is one of my biggest fears.

Scare tactics to help turn Colorado blue.

Medical marijuana was left alone under Republican presidents.

And I'm pretty sure Alaska had legal marijuana under part of Reagan's term and he let that be.

The federal government doesn't have the resources to do anything other than assist state operations in law enforcement. They aren't set up to do it all on their own.

medical users are a small minority in each state. I guess they thought pushing sick people around would be easy, and to some extent it probably was.

Recreational pot involves many, many more people. I would see that starting riots quickly.

The DEA and FBI don't have the resources to shut it down if the state isn't compliant.

A president who tries to bend the state to his will loses that state.

The DEA raiding marijuana retailers amounts to little more than a thinning of the herd, like the crocodile grabbing a gazelle as the herd crosses the river.

But then why is it still happening? They aren't wearing state trooper costumes they are wearing DEA on their jackets. Unless I am a complete retard I was under the impression the DEA was a federal agency.

They are hitting farms not just collectives, but I suppose to you those people are just sacrifices for the rest of us right?

I've never heard of any legal growers getting busted by the feds and I run in those circles.
Where are all these DEA raids you're talking about?

It doesn't matter who you vote for. The feds don't have the resources to go after legal marijuana over dozens of states and have any impact on supply.

Sucks for the ones they get though.

And should the feds try to, not only does whoever sits in the Whitehouse alienate that state, enforcement of all other laws in all other states dwindles to an unacceptable level.

If your asking for links your going to need to go use google, I am very close in with growers from the bay area, Mendocino county, and up north in Ukiah. All three areas have had activity and I have heard the stories first person not through some media outlets.

I am not the one arguing over which party shot first or continues to shoot. The evidence is there that they have made promises of leaving us alone and have yet to.
