All new growth yellow

Hey all my new growth at tops of each branch is a pale yellow green colour it's all the smallest leaves just sprouting.plants been in 12/12 3 days now not feeding anything at the moment no lolower leaf yellow just the newest sprouts is this normal or is something wrong.the ph is fine temperature are fine plant is in biobizz all mix soil potted up 2 weeks ago before flip.same happening to a different plant if pictures are needed let me know and I will upload some thanks in advance

I don't know anything about the soil you are in so I'm not sure what nutrients, if any, are being fed. Sounds like a lack of nitrogen but I could be wrong. Pics would definitely help!

Whats the feed youve been using? And how much how many times. Nitrogen is probably the problem but their too far now to help them. Next run with that strain, try adding more earlier on. That way the plant has enough in storage that it doesnt have to suck the leaves dry.

hi, pics would be cool (non hps) is the colour like a bright yellow allmost lime green, if so dont panick, where you have just flipped it sometimes happens ive got 10 incredible bulk, 2 amnesia, 1 critical ssh and all 13 are doing it (different strains) i also had it last run with 5 rqs blue mystic, and they were fine,17 oz of 5, what nutes are you going to use as i would suggest starting to feed maybe small amount as allmix is hot for 2-3 weeks and as youve just flipped it is not the time for deficiencies,

Sounds (and looks) like it could be light bleaching. you could raise your lights a little if they are close, or just watch them as they adjust.

I will try that mate see how they do I was told they are hungry for nitrogen.but wouldn't that cause lower yellowing 1st

No feed yet only what's in soil.wouldnt nitrogen cause lower leaf yellowing though because there is no lower yellowing only right at the top of fresh growth their in 12/12 now 3 days

be careful when you ask for advice....no, be careful with what you do with that advice.

people hear "yellow" and say "nitrogen", but nobody had even seen pictures. When I hear "yellow at tops following switch to flower" I say "adjusting to high intensity lighting that might need to be backed off"

I have trouble believing it's nitrogen after research I cannot find that nitrogen deficency starts at the top.if it was nitrogen the lower leaves would be yellowing out to compensate for lack of nitrogen up top from what I have seen online

honestly m8 the lime green will settle, it can look scarry like i said i had it, and the leaves around the new growth were half dark half lime green like someone had drawn a line across, madness, i do not believe its nitrogen and now ive seen the pics id hold of feeding as your soil still looks good, if you do just do a little bit make sure they dont burn etc, give it a few days and youll be like "what was i worried about" saying that if anything else pops up then panic lol!!!

YEAH I'm not going to feed untill I see a few lower leaves starting to get yellow. they pretty dark at the bottom so cannot see it be nitrogen otherwise they be uusing up stored nitrogen to compensate up top.i have moved light higher to see if that do anything just going to leave them untill Friday not one peek haha and see if it's progressed or stopped cheers for your information mate

Ahhhh, so no food yet and your wondering why its turning yellow huh? My guess would be its time to start with some food. They want to grow when they flip to 12/12 and if they dont have food it makes it pretty tough. Read the plants and next time start feeding earlier to prevent this.

I will give lightgfeed on next watering to see if it improves.what my other question why only upper yellowing if it's nitrogen wouldn't it take nitrogen from older larger leaves to compensate for fast new growth if none is available in soil.that's what's confusing me as I been told it starts at the bottom this yellowing started before 12-12 switch

Nitrogen starts at the bottom.
Sulfur starts at the top and cud very well be the onset of. Look it up. But my advice wud be to wait for now. Don rush to throw things at the plant before real symptoms pop up. Yu cud easily compound whatevers happening and end up with multiple lock outs and such. Then yu got flush and blaaah to much work. Jus be patient.

I have been reading about sulphur and it stArts from the center and works it way out to the tips this is the opposite way.i got to start a low dose of bloom soon anyway but I'm leaving them for few days without looking at them to see if it's stopped progressing or it's going back green thanks for your info though mate

Looking at he plant under natural light the yellow is no where near as bad as when you look under the hps or use a flash on camera I think there's a little nute burn and maybe a little deficency been fold the yellow tops are just new growth and should darken as the grow larger

here fine all my new growth like 1 day old growth is visibly paler but within 2 to 3 days it's normal colour it's just the plant growing super fast
