All females from a pack of regs?

I'm growing a pack of Grape Lazerlite by Antenna and there are a couple of issues...
  • There were only 10 seeds instead of the advertised 12, which is unusual.
  • I ended up with 9 females & 1 hermie, which is definitely suspicious.
Did the breeder miss a hermaphrodite in his garden?
Not sure if I want to finish these plants, since the genetics might be unstable.

What do you think?

I should sell my own seeds and cuts. What people buy off no description or real stats is crazy. The pix are not even good. Grow em out for everyone's sake
I've grown Antenna gear with good results, but he might be getting sloppy.
He even used Grape Lazerlite to make several new strains...

They are in 2-gallon buckets right now and I may just put them outside and see what happens.

Spring equinox is the 20th, so they'll either flower fast or reveg. :leaf:

I got 12 females, out of 15 from a pack of Swami Blue Orca Haze, and he doesnt do fems.
Found 2 killer keepers too. This was 7 years ago, and buddy, still has them. He thought we got ripped off, because of so many fems, as he hates fems. I got 20 Barneys Farm G13 x Haze fems many moons ago, and every one of them, was junk, compared to the regular version. They had stopped making regulars at the time. The Fems, were really junk though. Out of 20, not 1 good plant. When the regular version, was killer, and had one of the best structures, you could ask for in a plant. Huge yielder inside. 28oz, from 1 plant, in 20 gallons Promix BX, and a 1000w Hortilux HPS. Takes up a whole 4 x 4 area, and the 20 gallon tote, gets completely full of roots, when done. You can pick up the hole root ball, by the plant stalk, when it was completely dry.

Well you can slant a line towards being more female than male you work it right plus when buying seeds its luck of the draw anyway you could end up with ten males instead as well so maybe it wasnt fems as much as
just luck/genetics

It has happened to me both ways and it’s always surprising when it’s all one or the other. If there is one confirmed herm in the pack then you have reason for concern. Pickin off nanners sucks ballsack…
Sometimes it is just the way it goes but over time the house odds are always 50/50. Avoid fem seeds like they give you aids. Maybe somebody fucked up; I’d reach out to the breeder if you find the genetics are too unstable. It is entirely possible that the backcross is tainted by prior generations of selfed seeds.

If its a 50-50 thing, the odds are about 1%, so yes it is possible. I started plants for me and a friend last year. He ended up with 9 of 10 females. I used the same seed, and I got 3 of 10.

I've had about a 50/50 male to female ratio on regular seeds

But I have a friend who has only had 1 male in his entire life from regular seeds....so it can happen.....he uses heating pads and all sorts of environmental control technology and that MIGHT be the difference idk.
