You guys are way too kind :-P I owe everything to the generous growers and breeders that share genetics with the community. The first pollen chuck was a great success, everyone that put in cuts walked away with a ton of beans. It makes things easy when you can get a group of people together with a bunch of strains, never could do it on my own. I hope to see more growers doing that and perhaps we will get more people to grow from seed. Too many get stuck on growing the same cut over and over again. The more beans we can get out there the better.

Hovering, we def need to meet up one of these days! Hempstalk is on my bday though and I'll be celebrating in Boston

On a sour note, anything with starfighter, fpog, and 7ghosts is going straight in the trash. Alien fanboys where upset that I did not get permission from alien to spread the seed. I have no patience for hoarders selling hype. Sorry to anyone looking forward to those crosses.

Bowsa - thanks for stopping by! You're really not missing anything by not trying those flavors. There are quite a few amazing breeders offering seeds that are just as good if not better than the hyped stuff. Find what YOU like, pass it to everyone, thats what its all about

So what crosses do you guys want me to keep working on? Could make a kush dom cross with either the alien, lvpk, master, bubba, obama. But theres a ton of similar already out there so Im not too interested. The ld50 I lucked out with a well balanced frosty and potent hybrid. A good starting point, but where to go now?? The gilgamesh will be made using a male grass knuckles x ld50 instead of the sf x ld50. For my personal tastes Im trying to put together big yielding, triched out, rotten chem stank type of plants and i think the gk will get me there. Started making beans because Im tired of seeing 100$+ packs. So perhaps I should just get back on track, and hack the overpriced hype, not sure why I was surprised a few wouldnt like it.. very conflicted on what direction to head in

I would love to get my hands on a LD50 LVPK cross, but I understand where your coming from. Anyway you can get a chem cut? but I dont know topping LD50 is going to be hard.

I do love the lvpk! I haven't seen any of the lvpk x ld50 grown yet, I'll find some space and get them poppin. Since you asked, after gilgamesh I'll make a lvpk bx, lvpk x (lvpk x ld50) :bigjoint:

Chem d, and chem 4 I can get my hands on, but I think the daywrecker is better and will def be in the next round of chucking.

Here's an LD50 that shows characteristics of both parents, to me I believe its about 60/40 or 70/30 ripped bubba dom.

This plant is really becoming my overall favorite, and looks like she will become a mainstay in my garden.

The resin output on her exceeds that of her sister's (she is 1/5 LD50 females, although #6 is a very close second), and she is very resistant to mildew, unlike the very bushy Ripped Bubba dominant pheno.

Her smell is extremely pleasing, very sweet smelling with undertones of Chem. funk.

I would say she is a perfect mix of both parents and if I were looking at overall ratings for smell, bud structure, plant Structure, feeding requirements, resistance to pests/mildew, at this point in the season she far exceeds all other plants.

Although some plants seem to be less intense feeders, have more resin, smell a lot better, and grow faster, this plant overall is the most well rounded of all my plants this year.

Very strong stems, that don't need much added support and main-lines very well.

Do you clone male and grow when needed, or grow out the male and harvest pollen for storage?
I would like to keep my male, but I really don't want to build another room.
if you get serious and do male tresting for your best breeder, then cloning would the be the way to preserve it as long as possible. if you really want to preserve the chocolate rain flavor, it'd be better to keep your current male as you'll get a plant closer to your mother than father unless you want some chocolate BX too.

if you really just want to preserve your male, you don't have to go building an entire room, just put it in a closet, or even build a small "mother room" inside your regular room tent style with lower heat flourescents. it's doable as long as you make your cabinet/chamber/whatever light tight to your regular room. a lot of people were doing 2 tier closet grows with 24h rooms on bottom a couple feet high with larger 300w - 400w flowering chambers on top.

you don't have to build something that permanent to maintain clones in pre-flower. you could even jury rig a tent as easily as leaning a couple yardsticks against a wall like a lean to tent for something cheap and temporary, but building something a little sturdier would be better insurance against light leaks.

i was just using my bathroom as my 24h for starters because my closets are too small for shop lights and i don't want to buy more flouros.

if you're only trying to preserve a breeder, you don't need serious lighting to do it. just prune under a flourescent. shop lights are dirt cheap and have great coverage for 4 feet anyways, but if you did something like convert a sink or cupboard to a mother room, you could get a dirt cheap clamp lamp and a CFL too. it's doable if you're willing to put up with some hassle and expense.

a dedicated mother room would be best though.

Stunning pictures and garden bud! Thanks homey! My outdoors is not doing so well, next year I might fill the yard with only timewreck.. LD50 #9 looks lethal, hope shes a keeper for ya, sorry bout the slacker phenos. The f2s are showing lots more variety, will try to lock down only the best traits for the f3's.
