Al b. Fuct thread- images don't work

after pointing a friend in the direction of Al b. Fuct's threads I was told the images don't work. Checked it myself and can't see them? Any help would be appreciated

could you be a bit more specific please that user has over 40 threads on riu.

yes i see it now, those threads are 2007.

it would seem he uploaded those photos from a different source rather than riu's photo uploader , sometimes different source picture hostings remove photos after so many years...he hasnt been active since 2012, so there is no way to contact him and try to get photos up
unfortunately theres nothing mods can do about this as we do not have the original photos and the user isnt active.

Ah shucks. I remember he had a few problems with images being removed a while back but managed to get them back up. Such a shame. That guy literally taught me how to grow.

The weird thing is the archive site only has the smaller size pictures. Once you click on the picture it sends you back here where you're told they don't exist. But the real thing is getting the transferring of images higher on the list of things to do around here. People volunteer around here and have lives and have things that need to be done here constantly so fixing threads probably isn't that high on their list of things to do. Maybe mods or RIUers like yourself can start a thread about threads that have been damaged and need fixin'. Perhaps they can give this chore to possible future mods as a test/project? This is of course assuming mods like Sunni can edit Al's thread. Can you Sunni?

i can and have fixed threads in the past but they take lots of time to do , it isnt something i can do over night,just due to my actual life priorities but i will fix it within the next week or so
