AKR in a Hempy

I have always been a dirt guy and used Jacks Classic. Well I was looking for something different. About a month ago I stumbled upon Hempy buckets. Exactly what I was looking for. Simple drain to waste.

So I had an AKR in FFOF in a 1 gallon container. Not the perfect time to transplant or way to transplant but what the hell. Straight into 100% perlite it went.

Here it is about 3 weeks later. (today)

I germed these in a paper towel. When the tap root was 3/4" I put them in pucks. Then made these mini hempys out of yogurt containers where they lived for 4-5 days in perlite fed with just water. Today I transferred one of them to a 2.5 gallon hempy with 100% perlite. I'll do the other on tomorrow. I splashed it with a light dose of nutes.

The one in the first pics with the Sierra Nevada is growing slow but filling in. I'm gonna tell all - DON'T TRANSPLANT an auto the way I did. I shocked the crap out of it. The two little ones are growing pretty good.

I'll take some more pics in a bit.

Just took these. The pic on the left is the late transplant girl from dirt to perlite. Weird growing thing. Looks like it's going to be just one big ass bud. The other two were started in mini hempys. All are in 5 gallon buckets cut in half with a hole drilled 2" up from the bottom and 100% perlite.

Got a little leaf problem on the left and a little something going on to the right. I really don't worry about these little things. Of course all AKRs.

IMG_4784.JPG This is the one I transplanted from dirt to Perlite. It's ok. Ran out of bud and have been vaping this. It works. Terrible looking thing though.

IMG_5604.jpeg IMG_4776.JPG IMG_4777.JPG This plant is 3-4 weeks old and growing great in my opinion Very happy with the hempys. Nice green leaves. Growing great, no complaints. These pics are the same plant. One AKR.

Hey tek,

I have one too. This is an AKR. Damn thing looks like the seed was planted upside down, did a few somersaults under ground, and doesn't know which way is up.

IMG_4846.JPG Last pic I took was on 9/4 a couple posts up. The one on the right is the one on 9/4. Other than a few leaves that need to be picked off low, I think these are growing great!!

A few updates. I ran out of meds and had to start vaping that single bud plant. Here it is about a month ago and today.
I just pulled it out of the perlite and was surprised how short the roots were. I know I shocked it but really......the roots never made it down to the reservoir. hmmmmmmmm

I forgot about this thread. Damn. This is one of the plants from the post above. (#12) I went out to take a few pics just now and decided to pull the whole thing up and hang it.

I just pulled this up and is now hanging with roots and all. Kinda surprised the root mass is not larger.

i'm always impressed by AKR's yield and size. let us know how she
smokes when she's finished!

are you doing lucas formula or following the GH feeding schedule
for your hempy buckets?

Also have the Micro. Looking at these again, I wonder why the KoolBloom is in a solid white bottle and the others are not.

because the kool bloom can't be exposed to light. light probably
acts as a catalyst and sets off a chemical reaction on the kool
bloom. i knew what ferts you were using, just wondering if you
are using the grow bottle at all or just micro/bloom (lucas formula
is 8 mL micro :16 mL bloom, or a 1:2 ratio). flora nova bloom is
lucas formula in a single bottle with added humic acids.

reason i'm asking is a friend in a med state wants to start a small
auto grow but he's not able to be very active due to a disability.
kind of curious how the lucas formula works on auto because the
flora nova lucas formula is one bottle and done.

GH. I'm pretty much following this chart, but only using the first three in red. I use a syringe without the needle to draw the nutes. Works well. I'm using a 3ml. I need to find a 5ml.
