lol..ma bad..i meant the hood ..anyways,im off to home depot to get one of those cheap 6in booster fan,and if i find it some ducting.....so will one of these fans,with the ducting postioned right near the bulb..be enough to keep my 400w hps cool??im growing in a closet.....ive heard mixed results..saying those fans dont work for shit...rember this is just for right now,til i buy a vortex...so will a 6in fan,sucking air fom the bulb..be enough??

What's the CFM rating on the fan you're looking at? A cooltube is the best possible setup, but an exhaust next to the bulb should do the trick.

i went to home depot and didnt find the dam inline fans! i guess ima order it onle..or just save up money for a nice vortx...ima build a diy cooltube....hell..can i get away with NOT using any inline fan or ducting for my 400w hps??? can i just have it in my closet,with sevral fans pointing up at the bulb itself??......will this keep my temps managble?? atleast for the mean while..sionce i wanna do a 12/12 from seed..

You'd need to have a good supply of fresh air blowing through the closet (i.e. door not shut) and you wouldn't be able to get the light very close to the plants so you'd probably end up with some stretch. If you want to start them while you wait for your fan you can put them on 12 12 under your fluoros

dam datz a good idea...except i might as well just veg them till theyr big,cus i wanna clone them and end up with a mother plant..i dnt like seeds lol, it just seems like theyr grow too slow to end up with any SERIOUS bud..plus my lights are super daylight 6500k..they actually look BLUE..so if i do ill like 2 buy the 2500k bulbs....


ill consider it tho,ima c if i can get em just a lil bit bigger
