What's your total EC once you've added your PK? Do you reduce your main nutes back a lot?.
I hit a maximum of 1.4EC incl the PK, (around 1.2EC without it) they don't need massive amounts of nutes to grow well so why waste money :) and if you're feeding every day then they get what they need.
My biggest tip to any indoor grower is "control your environment".
The plants know what to do so its up to you to give them the food, light, temps and ventilation they need to accomplish this :)

When I was looking at a couple of your grows I noticed that it looked like you topped them down to like the 2nd node to cause them to massive trunks. Was I seeing this right?.
Sort of :) I top them around the 5th node and allow them to grow out a bit and then remove nodes 1,2 & 3 completely at the stem. After that you should have 4 main branches coming off that you can then top a 2nd and 3rd time to give you plenty of tops.

Hope you don't mind me being a copy cat but I gotta see if it will work for me.
By all means, carry on mate :)
I started with the canna coco nute guide and followed it on my 1st ever grow and it was easy although I did find it a little hot so dropped to about 2/3 strength.
Coco has to be the easiest medium to use, if you treat it like soil it will work and give soil growth rates but treat it like hydro and you will get faster growth rates. Once you have a good solid root structure it is VERY difficult to over water, I saturate mine daily and they thank me for it but only when I have PLENTY of good root growth. I can also leave them for a couple of days if I cant get there and they wont be wilting and falling over on me so its the best of both worlds for me.

I've got another white tip on part of a top, looks really weird, I must have a hot spot somewhere on my reflector as its only that 1 spot on the whole canopy :)

A few update picks, easing down on the nute strength now ready for flush next week.
Leaves look weird because of hps but they are all still very green.

Hey red hope it's not covered already but are you pulling air from you tube or pushing it out of
i'll be coming in to the hotter part of the year soon and might need to replace my shade with a tube to drop the temps

also are you pulling fresh air in and blowing old air out

Also did you only give her base + PK13/14 in flower ...?

I push air through the tube as I think its better to have cooler air going through the fan so hopefully it will last longer. It sucks from outside the room and vents to outside the room with no scrubber involved as its sealed off from the room so there are no odours to kill.

My extraction fan is attached to my scrubber outside the room so it pulls fresh air into the room through a passive vent, I do have a fan to push air into the room but I have never needed to use it as temps in the uk are pretty shit most of the time so not needed :)

Yes, this time all they have had is canna coco a+b, magne-cal+ and pk at weeks 5 & 6

Thanks red for taking the time my room is sealed so i can't get fresh air in unless i leave the door open so it's fine in winter but coming summer its going to be a little hard to control temps never goes over 30 as i am running the lights at night time now

but if i could keep temps down would be better oh well hopefully the cooltube drops the temps a little Thanks again for the help looking forward to your harvest should be double digest :bigjoint:

Looks great as usual "All Mighty Lord of the Coco" :bigjoint:

Those bugs would have FREAKED ME THE F OUT!!
Yeah they spooked me when I first saw them but checked on the web to identify them before I did anything stupid and it turns out they can be beneficial and they don't eat anything they shouldn't so they get a free ride for the next 2 weeks before I chop and then they are going to get binned as I'm shutting down until after Christmas :)

Are you gonna start from seed after Christmas ?

Yeah, I've got about 10 seeds that I've found in this AK48 bud that I saved and as there are no males anywhere near my grow I'm guessing these are feminized so I could use these or just order some new seeds. I like the idea of dwc so I may try to set something up along those lines or knowing how lazy I am I may just grab some more coco and do it the easy way :D

Lol awesome find red free feminized seeds :)
when my seed order gets here i got some regs and some fem so i am hoping for a male to make some babies save me time ordering and the risk of ordering online

enjoy your break and i hope when your you keep us posted i enjoy watching the ak48 grow but would love to see you grow some other stuff but then again what ever you grow its always good

I do about a tablespoon per gallon, every 3rd watering during flower (nutes, just water, mollasses, repeat). I also add it through veg but not as much cause its mainly just to feed the mychorrizae and beneficial bacteria since I grow organic.
Could you add the boost in place of molasses to help feed the beneficial bacteria?

Hey Red did you do any runoff with the drippers or anything or was it just a steady drip all the way through?
I ran the drippers fully open for approx. 15 mins which gave just a little run off but they ran twice a day and always got more runoff the 2nd time. I went back to hand watering though because of lack of space for a proper res and noise from the air pump.

What kind of PH down do you use? Sulfuric, phosphoric or etc?

i use mad farmers double down,, it brings ph down and keeps it there for 3-4 days until you need to add water..love it along with mad farmer NUTS which is humic and fulvic acids..they work great with whatever nutrients you use.

I also use general hydroponics kleen in between res changes,,it works great to clean out any build up in your lines and drippers..
