Agent Orange, TGA/Subcool, from Hemp Depot

Strain: Agent Orange
Growth: Very Sativa, tall and thin. Had to stake the massive top cola.
Nutes: Neptune's Harvest, Espoma products, Fox Farm, mostly organic.
Yield: 26.4 grams, 1 plant, 400w MH
Bag Appeal: Above average looking, long whispy nugs that are surprisingly dense and sticky. The hairs are a dark, rusty orange color. Lots of crystals.
Smell: Like orange citrus cleaner or soap. Almost artificial.
Taste: Intensely orange! Nostril clearing citrus. Very clean.
The High: Extremely heady. Body seems very far away though. Clumsy motor skills - no driving on this stuff! High comes on very fast - each hit quickly rachets you up a step higher.
Comments: This was my first grow, done under 400 watts of metal halide. Inconsistent watering and feeding. Flowered for 60 days. Smoked on the first day of curing. I'm pretty happy about how it turned out for my first grow. I'll be upgrading my grow room and growing more of this strain in the next couple of months. No camera, no pictures. Sorry!

Man, I would like to grow some of this. I always thought Subcool's strains were very attractive, with color, taste, and general plant/bud structures.

Sounds great, sounds like the best candidate for orange in the fruit bowl stash.

any pics?

Definitely an awesome strain. Once again, one of subcools premiere crosses. I have been growing this one for the last 1-1/2 years (indoors). I always love to harvest this beauty.

campare Mh with HPS
personally, I think nothing better than hPS.
and I thought TGA Subcool Seeds Agent Orange has the highest yield?

Nice report. I just started some AO's myself.

MH is better for vegging, HPS is better for flowering. If you can only afford one light it should be an HPS.

2 600 mh for veg and 2 600 hps and 1 600 mh for flower imo MH for the HIGH amount of uv throw out during week 5-10 for my shtuff just helps alot of resin production and color a few more leaves to trim but good for hash though so

The argument about MH vs HPS in the flower cycle seems to never end on forums. I can say I know that Kyle Kushman (the rev of skunk mag) prefers to flower under MH only lights. He claims the finished product is just better that way. I can say that the general concensus is; HPS for yields, and MH for quality. I personally use HPS for veg and bloom (I combine them with CFL's) for the Veg Room because I feel I get more compact plants this way. I am sure you could find someone on this site that will tell me I shoould change this though...

Got 1 Agent Orange that will be done in a week or 2 hopefully. I am growing under T5 and getting some decent buds on top not rock hard but full buds. Smells citrus of sure and lots of orange hairs. Seems to flower on the long side of the sativa strains 7-8 weeks. Tall and stretchy plant for sure, it stretched 7-8 inches with the 12/12 flip. No smoke report on my obviously since it is not done but I have gotten some from a local medical club and it is a very nice smoke with a tangerine citrus taste to it strong lazy high if you smoke like 2 bowls.

Just cracked 2 myself. Tried Jillybean a couple years back and loved the ORANGE taste, but looking for something a tad stronger. Hope this does the trick!

Long side of a Flowering Sativa is NOT 7-8 wks. More like 14-16 wks.
If it flowers in 8-10 wks. then it's a Fast flowering Sativa Hybrid. When have you harvested a Sativa late in flowering @7 wks. and what strain was it? C99 is all I can think of that finishes in 50 days and has a mostly Sativa high.
