Here is my attempt at a grow show for the Agent Orange. This is what TGA has to say about it at Hempdepot.


Agent Orange

A very good producer with extremely resinous large dense buds. The smell is amazing with hints of Oranges, Lemons and the smell of a Whiskey Sour cocktail. The strain contains pigments that have the ability to turn maroon, purple with cool nights. The buzz is up and motivating and make smile. The strain is a very heavy producer yielding large flat topped colas and very dense heavy buds. It does very well outdoors reaching over 10 feet in northern California. Indoors it can be topped and produce full canopies and heavy colas.

Phenotypes- Two main variations one short and thick and one taller and more resinous.
Height- Very tall block head colas
Yield- Very Heavy but all in last weeks
Indoor/Outdoor
Best Way to Grow- Top and train into a bush.
Harvest Window-55-65 days
Sativa/ Indica 50/50
Hybrid- Local Orange Skunk x Jacks Cleaner X Space Queen
High type- Strong and tasty leaves a Orange after taste and an almost trippy high.
Taste like a cross between Oranges and sour mix even makes the bong water smell like Oranges!
My largest yields this run came from this strain

I ordered 20 seeds of AO from the attitude. They arrived on time and then started to germ 2 weeks ago yesterday. 20 out of 20 germed for me. They are now in 1 gallon smart pots with just regular base soil. I will keep them in there for another 7-10 days then transplant them into 3 gallon pots with super soil in the bottom 1/3 of the pot.

Im trying to find the phenotype that produces the block head colas, Ive been thinking of this strain since last summer and am super stoked to finally grow some green...View attachment 1076088View attachment 1076090

Right on, the Agent Orange is a great plant for sure. We have one pheno we call Tangerine Dream and it is a great producer and the smell is incredible. We found several phenos but they didn't really show themselves to be different until late in flowering. None were 'bad' just 2 really stuck out as special.

Thank you for the kind words, when you say "they didnt show to be dif until late in flowering" do you mean bud density/growth? Do you have a grow journal on the AO?

I have 2 AO's in my outdoor grow right now and have a few going in my garden but no journal.

Yeah, #10 eventually became the Tangerine Dream and it has fat thick colas, stays pretty short and the buds get super dense. The #4 has 'spiraling' type of buds that never really hardened down. Good smoke but not real heavy.

Here are a couple pictures, about the best I have to show the difference and they aren't too good. Hopefully you can see what I'm saying about the bud structure.

We take her down between 56-60 days consistently.

With all those beauties you should look for the whiskey sour pheno too....

mind if i jump in real quick?? Does anyone actually smoke Agent Orange? Growing it , , yeah, everyones is. But whose SMOKED it and what the hell does it really taste like? Fuc gett'n high, nothing gets me high, or will you after 42 years of banging it back big time. So it is all about TASTE, and no one ever talks about the actual smoking experience. Just loads of micro tit shots of bud. Is there any orange in AG? I once smoked some Cali Orange back in 83 that was so incredible to taste that one had a hard time believing it. One couldn't stop smoking it because of the head shrinking taste of oranges, and the smell of a orange grove in the hot sun. The beans came from the original Seed Bank. Wondered how the AO would stack up against some real old skool herb. If you are getting high from smoking, you've only been smoking for less than 10 years LOL !

I actually have been smoking for 15 years brudda, but thanks for the broad sweeping generalization. If you follow my grow log, then you will see what I think about the taste. O.K?
