Afghan Kush

Has anyone here ever grow the Afghan Kush from World of Seeds? Just ordered 3 of these from The Tude and hope I made a decent choice. If you do have any experience with it, was it any good? Decent yield? Good smoke? Please let me know. If you have a grow journal, even better. Thanks.

I purchased 7 seeds about 2 months ago and tried germinating 4 of them last week (in jiffypots) one seed had sprouted and grew way slow then finally today it was dead and the other 3 seeds have done nothing at all, I pulled the 3 from the jiffy pots and am trying to get them to germinate in a moist paper towel but so far nothing........Ive got the remainig 3 seeds in dirt trying to gerinate them that way hopefully the start to grow....sorry to burst your bubble but so far these seeds suck ! hopefully you got a different batch than what I treceived.

Wow, that totally sucks. I hope for both our sakes that they pop up and are strong, but that isn't promising at all. Good luck and keep me informed.

I'm sure it was just bad luck or my own mistakes but I also had 3 seeds I think which didn't germinate. Sounds like a nice strain though.

It was good smoke, I grew them a while ago. Relaxing high, short plant.

I talked to the attitude this morning and they said I was the first person they have talked to that have had problems with these seeds......so maybe its just my bad luck or lack of experience....I just checked all the seeds again and still nothing has germed i will give them a few more days then into the trash they go...
@Budnoobie have you started yours yet ? any luck germinating them ?

Man I feel bad that you are the first to have problems with them but, and don't take this the wrong way, I feel a little more relieved at the same time. And no I haven't even recieved them yet. Still waiting for em to come in. To be honest though I'm not an inside kind of guy anyway. These and some Easy Ryders I bought for outside next year. Just got em early cause I wanted to try out the Nebula and Wappa also that were free from Paradise Seeds with the monthly promotion.

Seems like the chance might be low now but I really hope they do end up popping for ya bud. And thanks a bunch for the info. I really appreciate it.

The 3 seeds I tried to germinate last have all popped through the soil today, the only difference in germinating was the original 4 that did not germinate were placed in jiffy pots inside a humidity dome sitting on a seed germination heat pad (Made for germinating seeds) the temps inside the dome got to a high of 89 degrees, the three seeds that did germinate were placed in happy frog soil inside a humidity dome and NO heat pad I just placed a 26 watt cfl about 6 inches above the dome and the temps in the dome hit a max of 76, so it must of been either the Jiffy pots or it got to hotand cooked the seeds, from now on I will only germinate in soil using a cfl for heat!

i germ 1 ak/1 paki and 1 amaz from world of wank and after 3 and a half weeks went into flower on there own accord on an 18/6 light cycle. Grew like fuck, stopped, grew again etc. Now all 4 to 5 ft tall. Ak and pak lookin good but amaz lazy biatch. Dont rate world of wank and wont use them again. Best of luck bro

Ahh nice to hear that Skunk. Glad they came up for ya. Thanks for the tip about the Jiffy pots also. Seed to soil is all I have done so far but I did buy some Jiffy pots and figured I'de try it that way next time. Don't think I'll be trying that now. I'll just stick to whats worked for me in the past. Hey Khube, I know this is a stupid question but it's the photo AK you are growing and not the auto right? Glad to hear they can grow taller too. Had read a couple of times that others that grew it said it stayed short. Starting to feel much better about my choice now.

I got 3 AK from WOS about a year ago When I read this thread I started wondering if they would pop.
I decided to put em in a paper towel 4 days ago. 2 of them popped in less than 24 hrs and the third in less than 36 hrs. Planted em in coco and all three have emerged. They seem pretty healthy so far.

The 3 of mine that did germ are all doing good they are a week old tomorrow and are under a 400 watt m/h 20/4 cycle and will stay that way for the entire grow, the temps are running around 86-88 wich is a little warmer than i would like but i should be receiving a cool tube hood today so hopefull that will bring down the temps a bit, and they will start getting fed humbolt oneness 1/4 strength at 2 weeks old then progress up to full strength....I beleive the 4 of mine that did not pop must have gotten to hot inside the germ dome sitting on a germ heat pad !

I am growing Autos, WOS afghan kush ryders, I was wanting something that finished fairly quickly as my last crop is almost gone and i needed something to get me through .

Nice guys. Munkee are you growing the autos too like skunk? The 1s I was talking about all along is the photo version, not the autos. Hope you got the photos too and I'll keep a look out and see if you happen to post on the progress of the 3 you are growing. Just hope they are a good strain. They sound good but as I've noticed you can't always take the breeder's word for things. Best of luck to you, hope the grow big and strong for ya!

Two are lookin real good. One has mutated leaves (first set)...maybe it will grow out of that.
