Aerogarden transfer

Hi. First off, this site is amazing and is making me want to grow so badly. I have a question. If I start things in an aerogarden, how to I transfer over to a DWC with 4" netpots and hydroton? The roots will be all up in the foam plugs so should I just leave the plug on or should I plant bare in the hydroton. Does it have to be in some sort of rockwool or giffy plug or can the plant just be on its own in the clay pebbles?? I am trying to visualize everything before I start and this is a part i can't quite get my head around. Thankskiss-ass weirdest emoticon ever.

just make sure your careful, and you support the plant with the LECA.
you should be able to seperate the plant and the plug.
I'd plant it about half way in the net pot, this way when your plant grows
you'll be able to add more LECA to support the stem.
If I'm not sure how deep to plant I take a net pot and fill it with clay pebbles
and then place it in my DWC for a while. When you take it out you'll be able to
see how far the clay pebbles sucked the water up. This gives you a good idea of how deep you need to have your roots.
