Aerogarden, Round 2

Its been a while since I've talked about my Misty plant that I have growing, so I thought I'd give an update....

13 weeks old
started flowering after 3 weeks from droping the seed in, it took 3 weeks of flowering to finally see signs of sex, so right now its like in its 7th week of flowering....

It's only one plant but it's 3 feet tall...

I picked a few small buds, the right side of the plant seems to be finishing much quicker than the left side...

Tek,

I started with 3 ak47 seeds 40 days ago. I started 12/12 about five days ago. I assumed that I would have a male or two and be thinning out the product. I'm not positive but so far all three plants look to be females. I can raise the lid of the AG one more inch before I have to remove it. I'm using grow lights on the back & front for more light. I'll post more pics in a couple of days. So far so good. Still havent decided what I will do if all are female. I basically have unlimited room but my goal is just enough for personal use so I don't need too much.

well, i know the molasses has had alot of thiga goin for it in the weed world. but i was reading a groq journal. the guy had a homemade aero-ponics system, pretty badass. he tried to use molasses. and the shit all got super clogged and bubbles-n-foam. a big mess. also, it clogged the pumps.
it occurs to me that the aerogarden seems more like a recirculating system than aeroponics. just maybe technically hydroponics. i dont know. is there something else about it that classifies it as AERO-? just a thought. sorry to digress, but i wouldnt use the molasses. not alot anyhow. good luck. ill post pics soon!!!

My plants keep dying in the aerogarden. I use General Hydroponics MaxiGro and have the MaxiBloom if I ever get that far. Ph is right, plenty of light, hydogenperoxide, waterchanges but they keep dying and while they are still alive, their growing slow.:-?Any sugestion s from anyone? Help!

Is It A Good Time To Switch To 12/12 To Flower? Anybody Have A Clue On Earth About The Fungus Growing At The Base? Do I Need To Be Concerned? Also, My Leaves Are Starting To Brown At The Base (started Suddenly). What Do I Need To Change? Any And All Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated. If I Fuck This Up My Husband Will Be Saying "You Should Have Done It My Way", Until I Shove A Sock In His Mouth. Anyone who can send me a private message, please do. My hours are crazy so I never know when I can hit back.

Could the fungus be from removing the paper top? Doesn't keeping light away from the base prevent algae?

that fungus might just be nutrient salt build up, either way I've had the same thing and have never had a problem... you should cover up any holes with somthing so light doesnt git the roots or water....Flower now too

Thanks for the advice. I actually have the bases covered, I just took them off for the picture. I havn't noticed it spreading but my leaves at the base are starting to brown on a larger scale. More nutrients? What have you guys found to be the best nutrient on the market. Anyone experimented?

Everyone I read recommended Fox Farm. Big Grow until flowering stage then Big bloom. Mix at one tsp. to a gallon of distilled water.
Anyone else?
My AG is using a quart of water a day now 45 days into grow.

Sadly all the AG guys seem to have vanished.

Peace, O2

 Could some one start from the beginning and tell me how you guys seem to grow with no problems in the aerogarden? I'm at my wits end. I can grow it outside with no problem, enough that lasted me and my wife 7 months, but I can't get anywhere with the aerogarden. It would me a much safer way to go than outside.
The plants get to an inch or two then start turning yellow and the growth goes to a crawl. I had a couple that got planted outside a few days after the ones in the aero, they have already sprouted and are bigger than the three in the aerogarden. What the Heck am I doing wrong? I really need some help here before I lose it and pitch the thing out the door.

I have no idea what your problem is , i think we need more info on what set up you have and the variables i.e heat humidity ,ph ,nutes ,ventilation so on. Unfortunately for you i had no problems with mine.
I see your getting frustrated with it but persevere and you will succeed :peace:
