for stealth reasons I plan on putting an Aero Garden in a large cardboard box. I will be using an inter and exter fan to keep fresh air moving and to keep temp around 68f. Does anyone think this could catch of fire or could it be dangerous? I only plan on keeping it in the box for veg, once flowering comes Ill move to bigger wooden box.

Safe, or Not?:weed:

I'm a noob, but if you are ONLY using the AeroGarden lights, I seriously doubt you'd be at much of a risk.
If you had extra lights and electrical cords or exposed wires from some gerry-rigged setup the danger would obviously increase.
My uninformed guess would be CFLs are probably ok (they don't seem that hot to me... I think I'd have better luck starting a fire by rubbing two sticks together).
But an HPS lamp would probably be bad and risky.

I wouldn't use cardboard. It's too easily damaged and can absorb moisture as well. If you have a malfunction, it could catch fire I suppose. I just wouldn't do it.
