Aerocloners - No Misting - Who has theroies

I have been trying to understand why aerocloners do not require the cutting to be misted while other methods do require misting.

I have a little clone box and clones in coco need misting while the ones in the bubbler do not.

I am guessing somehow the stem is able to absorb water in some environments? Maybe the presence of water stabilizes the temp?

Ideas?

themass amounts of water? althoug some rw cloners say no dome just 6 hours of dark after you cut them.
