advice

Hi everyone, only been moved for about a couple weeks but i have decided to try and start my very first grow...my bedroom is small...real small, two dressers, and a bed and a small closet. SInce im renting with my dad, who by the way used to work for L.E..way back in the 90's...i have to really watch what im doing...he is 100% anti- cannibis...so i have decided to go with a 36x18x30 grow closet inside my B.R closet and run a advanced led 150 in it. And a small fan for air...Gonna be doing autoflowers, small short strains for right now..depending on how much i screw up.
Gonna try and find some strains that are low smelling or fruity smelling without the traditional smell..(if thats possible)..as far as exhaust goes..gonna try and figure out a way to exhaust into the floor vents as this is a mobile home and cutting a hole in the wall or anywhere else for that matter is a 100% no-no...and the landlord lives 75 yards on the side of us...but never comes over...is it possible to keep the smell kinda covered up and low-key for the 65-70 days?...

If smell is an issue you definitely want a carbon filter. It's possible to cover the smell...but opening the box or w/e to water each night will always let out some smell....and trimming will stink pretty good too. If the plants are just chilling in their box with a filter they don't put out any smell...

I do alot of small stealth grows and one of the issues I have is just keeping all the extra equipment hidden too. Buckets, watering cups, nutes, coco, planters, thermometers etc..You might want to consider getting a fishtank too to help cover it all up.

good luck :)

Is your dad okay with this ? Who's name is on the lease ? Are your in an illegal state or country ?
Are you over the age of 18

Growing in a rental isn't a good option

Thanks so much..no one is in my room at all and i just replaced my BR doorknob with a much better one with a KEY LOCK.. Maybe a good air filter from amazon 200.00-400.00 could be what keeps me in the safe zone...i think ill invest in one just for extra security .....

i wouldnt grow until your dad moves out thats my advice probably not what you want to hear

in the event your landlord needs to access your building as well

My dad is 86 years old with parkinsons disease ...he wont ever be moving out..plus he needs a wheelchair 70%, of the time to get around

Is my dad against it?....am i in a country or state where its illegal?...you might want to read my first post again a little slower...

id go with something like this....https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007ZU6FES/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
i'm using one of those in a 3x6 tent with up to 8 plants in it at a time and you can't smell anything where it vents outside, and i've had people i know that don't smoke check for me, so i know its not my ruined nose failing me.
you can buy a small 4 inch inline fan and a controller, run the fan about half speed, should be fairly quiet and easily take care of your smell issues, which is good as you'll probably be venting it into your own room.
it might cost 150-200 bucks to get set up, but at the rate you're growing it ought to last you 2 or 3 years before you have to replace the filter.

Seriously....I would not try growing and wasting the time money and energy if I lived with someone totally against it.....What will happen is eventually you'll come home and find it all gone.

Thanks for advice friend...appreciate it...if it was not for colorado haveing insane rental prices thats where id be..no way am i paying 700 a month for a apartment

.no way in hell...or a house for that matter
.

Well im fixing to move and leave him here..he is cramping me too much...soon as i save some money...he will be on his own and probably in a nurseing home..

Well good luck then, it's just you will have to perfect no mistakes at all and very very stealth.

I would research heavily long before I did anything and do some serious testing.

All that said......I wouldn't do it!!! :P

someone who might come area once a year or something is not the same as someone strolling around the place daily....just saying....maybe your father because of his age and condition won't notice.

I mean if you can grow it legally then that's a plus won't have to worry about the law at all basically.
