I have 8 plants that are 5 days old. They are in 6" rockwool cubes (soaked and ph'ed) in hydroton. My reservoir had a leak, and I will not have a new one for 6 more days. I have been misting my plants with ph'ed water daily. They are under 400w MH 18/6. I was wondering if it will be okay to keep them in this state unti my reservoir gets in, or should I try to hand flood them with water so they think they are in the ebb & flow, or do you think they will be okay in the moist rockwool getting misted for the next few days until I get me resi up and running??

It was a brand new reservoir, and was misformed. I had to get it replaced, which took 2 weeks to get the new one in.....I sent the old one back.....I should have waited to start seed, but the new res was SUPPOSSED to be in yesterday. it didn't make it...and he is not open again until Tuesday, and I can't get into his shop until at least Thursday or Friday.

It was actually not a leak...it was misformed and the lid would not fit properly.....I said leak to make it easier to explain....anyway, it never even made it home.

So were talking about seedlings right. If so i can't imagine there being a problem. little plants aren't too thirsty. If there still really small, maybe you could put them in something else, or plug your drain and keep a little bit of water in the bottom of your top tray. Good luck and let me know if i can help.
Hydro shop guys must all be old stoners, they all seem to keep the weirdest hours. I guess those who can't grow [won't], sell us the shit to do it with.

They are seedlings....5 days old......second leaves forming........been foliar feeding water ph 6.0. Think I'll be okay for 6 or 7 more days doing this??
As for my hydro shop guy, he has been a customer of mine for years...and he is an odd duck. He only opens on a whim, it seems. But he is super good people, so I accept it. LOL.

as long as you keep em moist i would think you could go weeks. I don't know but i figure if you can leave a rooted clone in a 1.5x1.5 cube for weeks just sitting on a tray roots poking out everywhere in it's fine you should be good with 6x6 blocks and seedlings. Anyone agree? Maybe if roots start coming out like crazy you could sit em on a bed of hydroton or perlite with water underneath. Good Luck
