advice for taking care of clones

okay i have never cared for clones i need as much info and tips that will keep mine alive and healthy

no standing water. high humidity first days (100%) then gradually ease off the humidity... mist leaves for the first 6-7 days (couple times a day)

light wise would i just use my 400w light or floresent

flourescent

or keep the 400 watter more than 2 feet away for a week and a half

3 feet away as in above it or 2 feet to the side

2 more feet ABOVE plant with the 400
