Actual advice! Thanks!

You're right, the price is what was keeping me on the fence about using AN. I was just going to stick with FF for the time but I will look into RX Green Solution.

Thanks for the tip, buddy.
so no to dyna gro? only two bottles unless you're doing hydro (Foliage Pro and Pro-Tekt). can be only one bottle(Foliage Pro) if you don't want the silicon supplement(Pro-Tekt).

Why are you so afraid of shipping to your house? You know some companies ship everything by stealth and don't have a name like "GROW BIG BUDS, CO", but rather GBBC. It's less risky using good old USPS then your vehicle to a grow shop. Research OPSPEC

Ah, yes, you did give information too. I'll look into your suggestion as well. I know they have DG at the store. Maybe after the holidays I'll compare all three and see which ones do,the best. That is, if I don't die of cancer first.

Use the mbferts.com lineup which are all AN clones/formulations and you cant go wrong, plus you'll have some coin left in your pocket. I cannot recommend highly enough!! I should be getting freebies as much as I pimp them. lol

I went to the store today and had them order me small bottles of Foliage Pro, Bloom and the Pro-Tekt. As they too are interested in how it does they gave me a good deal, $20 in all, as long as I compare it to what I can do with Fox Farm.

Is there a reason you don't use the bloom? It's low in P during the bloom phase.
That's if you're growing in hydro. Container growing needs more N all the way through because it's harder for the roots to access it in dirt/cocoa/soilless. Hence why I said use FP and Protekt only. FP is 3-1-2 which is perfect, and Protekt is 0-0-3. The two together can get you right to 3-1-3 or close which will work perfect for the whole grow. If you do use bloom, only use it a couple times during bloom when the whole plant is green, around week 4-6. If you do use their bloom you plant will yellow from the bottom up and you'll chase it all the way until the end.

I do both hydro and dirt. That's interesting though. I never had much of a problem with the FF nutes in soil so I'm interested in trying out this method the next time.

I've been using Fox Farm products for the past few years and get decent results but have recently been thinking of switching over to the AN line.

My question is what do the growers that use AN use? I don't have a lot of money to buy everything so besides the base nutes what do you recommend buying first?

My thoughts after the base nutes were; overdrive, big bud, bud igniter, bud candy, bud factor x, and flawless finish of course.
honestly it is very easy for me to use i love it and never looked back because i have not had the same quality or better brought to me so i have no need until i see better
and i love no ppm meter or ph meter anymore for over a year now and its solid

This is enlightening. This guy owns a company and basically told a huge subsect of his customer base they only need two of his products throughout the whole process.

Two people on this thread have tried it and it works for them. I'm going to try it my next grow, along with my original method, and test it out for myself. Even if it fails I'm only out two clones and $20.

I switched from GH Flora series to Dynagro in both my veg and bloom areas. I was just using FP and Protekt in the veg, but I am seeing yellowing at the bottom with just Bloom. I'm going to switch to just FP and protekt all around and see how that works out.
