Here's a quote from a former hydro store owner about the rebranding of ballasts. The 'budget' ballasts in his journal looked a lot like my Quantum so I asked him about all the lookalikes:
quantum was bought out by r and m supply(c.a.p) they fixed some of the issues, they also just dropped the price super low.

R&M really shouldnt be expanding. their customer service is terrible and they catalog way more products than they're able to keep in stock...

where ya here r and m bought them out, and what issues. 1% return i dont call issues realy. ive had many and 1 has failed from about 20 of them of my own.

order your quality stuff here like the shops do....lol

R&M merged with quantum a little over a year ago. I actually did see a decent number of quantum ballasts get returned. Small issues like the cooling fans not working.

and 1/20 is 5% :hump:

Interesting article. Doesn't change a thing for me tho. Great yields last forever and I don't mind the price. Tried many lines but I always end up back at an.

thats why it works for you cause you keep going back and not giving others a proper chance.

i havent heard anything about them merging and i know someone there. not saying isnt fact just first ive heard of it. for us here the only issue we saw was the wall fans not fans in the ballast. everyting i have from them is still going for the past few years 24/7. 1 ballast failed actualy and was replaced no problem on the spot, didnt have to wait for it

Well there's no "marijuana business monthly" magazine that would publish things like that. Who do you know there? Try to open a wholesale account with quantum and theyll send you an R&M form.

if you contact either r&m or quantum youre going to be writing to 420 harley knox blvd in perris, CA.

im ready to switch from advanced when someone shows me results of a rookie getting 3 ps a light with something other than advanced.. my yields shit on most my friends and i have been growing less than 2 years. the prices are high no doubt, i wouldnt recommend advanced for someone with a small garden.

Re read my post... I have tried many lines over many years. Gh was OK. Age old was pretty good. But nothing has been able to compare. I'm not saying its for everyone. But I've yet to find anything better in my garden.

actualy there is a magazine for hydro industry. all that means is that r and m is the exclusive distributor. many work that way.

nutes dont make a rookie a bette grower. nutes dont make anyone a better grower, knowing how to use stuff makes you a better grower...experience. no magik yields or cures comes in a bottle, and saying the p from a light isnt saying anything...might have taken 6 months veg to get that then id be embarrased to say it was advanced....not saying you did,...just example, yields are about good rooms and veg time, not nutes

ya i read your post but it still hasnt said how many times you used them is what i mean. no way someone can know how to use a line the first time theyrun it and is usualy what we see, then say they its shit. ive used many also and no 1 has stood out to be any better yet, right from a 7 buck tub of dry urea crap to the so called best...or one of them that claim they are the best...lol
after youve worked in the bizz you get to see how hi the shit gets piled. im kinda blown away how many are sucked in to....still.

i got 2.9 pounds per thousand watt lamp my second time using advanced. 4th run ever growing weed. your telling me that a rookie can do the same thing with different nutes? then what does that say for the guys that been growing weed for years and still cant average 2 ps a light? they must be retarded? nutes definitely have something to do with it.

With all due respect, I'm calling shenanigans on all your claims. Unless you're running a vertical setup or utilizing light movers with hydroponics, you're not pulling what you claim (..unless you're weighing it wet). Lets just entertain 3lbs/light for a second. The first thing to get credit is one's environment, followed by strain and the skill of the grower. Plant food brand ranks pretty far down on the list as there is nothing magical about any of these mineral salts that are going into any of these fertilizer bottles. Plant food is a tool, not a guarantee.

2.9...im with homebrew on that one to..lol..1 light?..average 3 weeks veg...ok..new grower?. if thats your cliaim then ...yes it can be done with other foods to.
at least you and advanced have something in common on exagerated claims. thats why hes be9ing shut down all across the states.
a guys label doesnt make ammonia nitrate any different.

i dont say the guy growing less is retarded at all. like was said, genetics rooms and skill are the main reasons for yields. kinda makes you that reatrded for thinking that...or your a salesman to.

when someone can show me that there is more than 1 ammonia nitrate or a calcium nitrate or any of the others then i might start to believe one food is that much diff or better than anothers. just cause you buy kraft dinner from wally world and the other is from a hi end store doesnt make it diff...its still kraft dinner. bet if i made a nute and put boobies on it i wouldnt be able to keep in stock....lol

Lol, Sit down and STFU. Every grower knows your lying through your teeth. Unless it is wet weight with the stems included.

click the link at the bottom its all there. i got 11 pounds 8 ounces off 4k watts. dry.
Your link claims 10 pounds from four lights, then 9 pounds from the following grow where you added two 600s to your existing 4 light setup, no? You've got some chunky strains in your grow room but the plant food brand is not where the credit should be placed.

so you saying im just the fucking man? my friends cant do this and been growing ten years.. how is it that i just kill it if the nutes dont matter
