Advanced Nutrients has class....

Maybe you don't consider him a creditable source but I don't think he sells nutrients. He sells books... If I am remembering correctly, he sells a few hormones and/or fulvic acid or something but I dont think he sells anything else does he?
did you read when the guy says this mate?

"
For use in ornamental crops only
I would stress that this product comes with a strong warning – it has long withholding periods and the actives are systemic, meaning they, in all probability, remain residual in the plant after it is harvested; one of the actives was banned for use in ANY consumable crop some years ago after a massive controversy in the US (“the Alar scare”) and both actives are poisons with possible toxicity issues when used in a short term deciduous crop. ...to say the things I say? Accusations? :-? Please refresh my short memory and quote my posts because you lost me here.

You're buying into their marketing, hook, line and sinker.
Your accusing me of falling hook line and sinker for the marketing, when you have absolutely no creditable proof what so ever to back up what your saying. Yes I am sure a simple mind like yours gets lost quite often but its ok i'll help ya keep up :hump:

Wow Jeffy boy..seemed to have touched a nerve. Well first things first, I was just voicing my opinion on the matter and I was very respectful in agreeing to disagree on the video with Crackerjack and the conversation I had with you earlier. He thinks of it one way and I obviously think of it in another way and that's the way its going to be. I never attacked him saying his opinion was stupid or anything like that. I'm commenting on the video alone and never said a word about people who use AN and if they were good or bad people. I didn't realize this thread was only to talk up AN and its users, I thought we were discussing the video. I didn't think i was giving off the impression that I was talking "big fucking shit" and "hypocritical BS" (I'm not quite sure how I came off as either, especially hypocrytical) but I'm sorry you misunderstood my intentions and attitude. I didn't know I wasn't allowed to post on a forum in the middle of the day either, apparently it makes me "hot shit". So what does picking a fight over a forum make you? molten shit? something like that I guess. Talk about me turning a forum negative..look at you using all the big boy swear words and the naughty smilies and calling people names. You seem to like the word ignorant a lot..if I'm correct I even saw you put up a definition of it! Now that's a start! Now you just gotta read it and think about in conjunction with what you've been saying and accusing me of and you'll be set! So now lets get back on topic of the video and stop being mean to us "white trash" "faggot bunch" cause it really hurts our feelings.

PS. I only make 5K at Mcdonalds but I get 20% off on food so it balances out:hump: (in fact Big Mike came and ordered a few Big Macs the other day) hahaha sorry I just had to.

I'm not sure what you're confused about. Do you not think you've fallen for their marketing? You've fallen so hard that you've embarrassed yourself with your posts. You've made your age, maturity, and experience level clear to everyone here and it's been quite the entertaining train-wreck, actually.

...and again, it's 'you're'. Stay in school 8-).

I'm not on the internet enough to really care about this so called discussion you guys are having, all I have to say is if you aren't GIVING me free nutrients then shut the fuck up and let me BUY what I WANT TO BUY. "Uncle Ben" you're a dirt farmer right? Do you have any experience in growing in rockwool? How many different methods of growing have you tried? How many different nute schedules and brands have you tried?

Two questions Jeff. What were the other 6 nute brands you tried and what sources do you get your info from other then AN advertisements?

Humble learner I like to grow in rockwool. I started out using H&G for about two years. I got good results and I was happy with it. Then after reading a bunch of links and stuff from UB and looking at my bottles I realized it might be a bunch of bs so I tried Dyna Gro. I got far better results. Not just in yield but also in quality.

I've spent a small amount of time researching dyna grow but have yet to try it. Maybe I'll give it a try on the next run! My good friend has been praising the H&G Van De Zwaan line(for his OG kush) and he used AN for about 5 years.

edit: I haven't read through this whole thread but I might scan through uncle bens posts, originally I just clicked this thread to post that I have great results with AN base nutrients.

GH's GMB, GH's flora nova, i've tried Miracle grow soil as well as the nutes (as an experiment to see why ppl talk down about it), FF's GB,BB,TB (which wasn't too bad, used those first didn't have much experience at the time). Then read on here about some BMO (Blue Mountain Organics) nutes that you can buy off ebay, ppl ranted and raved about that so I wanted to check it out. Only used it a couple months before I jumped on AN's line and never changed nutes again. Its not that the nutes failed they all did their purpose no doubt but why would I go for one that gives me a lesser yield and one that doesn't make the plants flourish like AN nutes do?

Now once again I will say, that ppl like Uncle ben and others dont care for AN and thats fine, they dont need to use stuff nor need to believe in it. Thats their preference, much like choosing AN is ours. We dont need you guys on here acting like our parents shoving "what you think is best" down our throats. Its ignorant and annoying, especially when we didn't ask for the negative info. PPl wanna say how I am bad and how I lack class for the things I say but look at how rude some of the nay-sayers been in here? Just think if you nay-sayers never came in I never would of acted how I did. But yet I am in the wrong? Na not me lol

He may be making AN look bad but where in the article is he trying to offer his own brand of nutrients to replace AN's?

He also grows like this:

What's your point? And I grow like this, spending less than a buck on food and soil amendments.

1 plant = wheelbarrow full, four 4' tall main colas from one SATIVA autoflowering plant done a few years ago:

Folks spend too much time and money on crap and not enough time and money on learning what makes a plant tick. You want to take the easy way out and I'm here to tell you, it's not found in a $110 bottle of watered down stuff, less is more.

Success is not all about "the latest and greatest" plant food supplement or the latest lamp, it's about plant nutrition and understanding other plant requirements.

I've had nothing but great results using AN's base nutrients, I've never tried their whole line-up. I've used a few other nutes with mediocre results.
Thankyou I was wanting this exact info,I want to try an to see if its any good as the price on ebay is same as canna for some stuff. You have to at least try it before you say how crap it is.I just dont want to have ten bottles to do the same as my 2 bottles of canna

I bet that 90% of the posters in this thread have never grown a plant before trying to take on this weed.

UB
He didn't read into it that much. If you go into the site more the author of the book states

For use in ornamental crops only

I personally wouldn't smoke that...

And you should edit that line out again like you did the first time,

I bet that 90% of the posters in this thread have never grown a plant before trying to take on this weed.
dont sound right lol:lol:

That is my point. You can grow heavy yielding plants without AN.

I didnt say a thing about any $110 dollar bottle of anything and that guy mixes his own nutes from scratch and isnt promoting any brand of nutrients... So what is your point?? :dunce:

BTW that looks like some high quality herb there lol

"We got an amazing letter from Roberto Rodriguez, a Southern California weightlifter who’s also a hydroponics grower.
He wrote us saying he keeps his bottles of Organic B, our powerful, all-organic plant growth B vitamin formula, in the same place where he keeps his sports power powders and drinks.
On a day when he was exhausted and distracted preparing for an important weightlifting competition in Los Angeles, Roberto drank a glass full of our Organic B, instead of the powerlifting vitamin formula he’d intended to drink….
Two days later, Roberto competed and won the gold medal in bench press and squats. This was the first time he’d won a competition. He’d never even placed before.
Better yet, Roberto says he’d never felt so good, never recovered so fast, and never lifted so much. He gave credit to Organic B!
Now of course we don’t recommend that anybody consume our products that are meant for plants- but if Organic B can have this effect on a 210 pound weightlifter, just think what it can do for your plants."

This is all true you fuks. I drank some and I got hard as a rock and it like grew 4 more inches. All the girls like me now , I'm so popular and appear more handsome. You know what the best part is? I have more confidence. So f**K off you non-believers. If a Weightlifter tried it, by golly we can, and should. Maybe there's something to the name BIG Mike? "Not only is he the president, he's also a client".
