Adding tane to a tank that already has some in it

i did that can tap thing to fill my recovery tank and don't think I got enough in, so after a few runs I want to add some more how do I add more with out emptying out all the tane that's already in it.

I was thinking add a few before I recover back the tane after a run but then the tank would have a vac on it to do the recovery.

We inject into an empty 60/85Fcollection pot and recovery the butane using the pump, so as to pre-distill it into the holding tank.

We clean the mystery oil out of the pot before running product.

im still kind of confused, so cool the recovery tank to 60-85, and I'm running passive so I don't think I can use the pump I have been just pulling a negative pressure on the tank to get it to recover the tane.

My question still is can I add a few cans somehow using a can tap or do I have to empty out the butane that's already in there and start filling all over again, once again in a passive system.

The collection pot bath is heated to 60-85F, not the recovery tank. We keep the recovery tank at 32F or below for an active system and use dry ice and alcohol to ~-40/50C for a passive system.

Remember to still distill it after topping up with gas. Some say the amount of mistery oil is negligeble, but why be lazy?

One problem with mystery oil, is that test have shown the levels to be inconsistent and that the hydrocarbon chains can be as long as C-18, which is too high a boiling point to remove later by purging, and costs valuable monoterpenes trying.

Even at one part per millionth, if you have a million parts, you have one and it will be concentrated in your extract.

We use 99.5% Instrument Grade Praxair, which we distill and filter to 99.995% before extracting with it.

Ye that also occured to me its not like all batches of gas will have exact the same amount of mystery oil. perhaps in one tank could have 2 or 3 times more due to god know what reasons.

Im about to try mixing n butane with n propane at 50% ratio like you do, ill let you know how it goes!

I have a friend who steals fire extinguishers from work so im always seconds away from dry ice :D Incidentally. 5kg of dry ice delivered here cost around 60 to 70 euros. How much in America?
