Central Washington medical patient right here. I go to Seattle pretty infrequently stock up on the danky dank, but I don't have to travel far to get good medicine. Washington has really up'd its game in the year that I've been medicating with cannabis. Not just the quality, but the prices are probably better here in Washington than anywhere else in the country. I love Washington!

Not to sound like a price but you must know a secret dispensary other than Green Health and maybe a few others theres just not the diggity dank in dispensaries and the reason why is price. No self respecting grower of dank is taking 1800-2400 for their indoor fire, so what people are getting cheaper priced is straight up cheaper product. And now that its harvest season all that Cali OD will be crossing borders and making its way up here and dropping price and quality for the next few months.

Apple Capital Community Garden is my favorite here in Central Washington. Don't get me wrong, they don't have the selection you can find in Seattle. I've occasionally found some legit Thin Mints here for $12/g, which is really high compared to their regular $10 a gram. The last time I was there the selection wasn't great, but I think they regularly stock up on a few top notch strains - the most delicious Tangerine Dream ever being one of them.
But I mean, Washington's average price per ounce, even in Seattle, is likely cheaper than anywhere else in the country. I think Cali is still over $300.

Washington Peninsula. I grow mmj for my dad (a retired vet). Wish I could smoke but my job won't allow it.

I'm in Spokane. I've had my card for a while now, I have to renew here in a few months actually, and I have actually started becoming a rather noisy medical patient since the LCB and others have started using I502 to dismantle medical marijuana in our fine state.
Turns out there's an activist hidden inside me somewhere. If anyone wants to make themselves heard we should have some conversation on the subject cause I'm new to this but I actually have a congresswoman in my e-mail right now so don't think a single voice can't be heard.

Raise your voice and make the government hear you before the medication we need is taken away by ignorance and greed- again.

I'm on the Olympic Peninsula, just got my card a few months ago. Starting my first (and maybe last) grow in 15 years. I really didn't think they would take away virtually all MMJ rights. It was obvious to me and most of my friends that taxing recreational and keeping the MMJ laws untouched couldn't coexist. Which is why we almost all voted no on 502. Those that I know that voted for it sighted specifically that it wouldn't effect the MMJ laws, what a joke.

I say we all chip in buy a crop-duster and spread viable pollen on the 502 grows! Lol

Spokane patient here but i do travel to the best side frequently (born and raised in the GTA). It is a different world of medicine on this side. Less testing and it is hard to find high CBD strains and lab grade concentrates. I asked one dispensary in Spokane if they had any sugar free edibles and the bud tender was baffled, it was like the idea of a watching blood sugar and mmj together had never occurred to him. With reform on the horizon I hope we get better dispensaries in eastern WA. A constitent state wide experience would be nice

With that being said, the new recommendations on mmj are crap. Especially losing home grows. Some of us have thousands of dollars invested into growing (which we pay sales tax on). Those patients are not going to stop just because the regulations changed. Some will but the LCB has to know that most patients are not going to abandon the money they invested or the hobby that we therapeutic. If we lose home grows the state just creates new criminals. Which gets into a whole new subject about profit generated from the prison system
