theres different temps for veg and flower, flower is ideally maintained at 72 so that the canopy temp is around 80.

it does seem like them photos are of a different model or they have improved allot, however you and the above poster own them and say they work great i take back my statement!

p.s do they still just use any ol tote for the res??

Hey Flogger,
First good luck with your cab and temps. Second, the foamy shit leaked before I ever moved the lights. Like week 2 of operation and on-going. I suppose I could have used an expensive method to lower the lights, and they do need to be lowered with small plants. But I used what I had handy. The lights are secure and not a cunt hair closer to the walls, then when hung with the provided wire. That ain't the problem. Too hot to use it here, this time of year (even with max A/C). But I will be firing it up again after using it to dry my current crop, which it does a really good job of...lol I'll let you know how my next Brian grow goes :bigjoint:

Was doing a lot of research on these cabs. Very interested in the "bare Stanley". My question to those who own
one of these is how much does it weigh? Might need to bring it up a flight of stairs.

The Brian is a bit lighter. But it was more the awkward size, than the weight, that caused problems for me. It is wide and tall and you can't really lay it down to carry it up or down stairs. Even with those lift straps. Unless one of you is a dwarf :eyesmoke: I used a hand truck and another person, had to switch the hand truck' position twice on the landings, and still took a divot out of the wall :cuss:

Good luck with your purchase and grow!

The components are very nice, I believe I got my moneys worth and I paid $16,500 for these beauties. They also came with everything, I didnt have to buy any supplies.
Over 16 grand?!?!? You clearly have more dollars than sense...goddamn that's just ridiculously insane. Honestly I would stop telling people this info because it makes you look exceptionally retarded...just wow...

Appreciate the reply. I'm looking to put it in my basement. Was a little worried about the weight and size. It won't fall apart if I tilt it back slightly to bring it down some stairs(lol).....right? I've moved my fair share of times, so I'm no stranger to moving objects/furniture with awkward size. Guess I'm trying to find reasurance. Thanks again

Bah, I disagree. I have done alot of grows over the years, temp is not that critical. I have had rooms at 90 and I have had rooms at 75 with nearly identical results. As a matter of fact the temp swing is good for tight nodes which means a heavier yield. In nature temps vary wildly yet plants are always big and healthy, saying a certain temp is "perfect" is a misinformed point of view. And by the way the reason I purchased on of these cabs is now that I am married I can no longer have a room dedicated to my grows, she wouldnt have it but bent for me on a grow box. Oh ya, my Stanley does stop all odor by the way, if they didnt the wife would have kicked it out of the house.

I was digging for a few grow tips when I ran across this thread and I wanted to put my two cents in. I purchased four of the accelerated ultimate grow boxes, two stanleys and two brians both "Silverbacks" (their biggest cabinets) and put them in the back room of my trailer. All have the upgraded 405 watt led lights with three flourescent side lights in the stanleys and four side lights in each brian. I keep the grow room at 74F, when the lights are on the stanlys run at 84 and the brians run at 82. All four ph adjusters work as advertised, no complaints once I figured them out. These boxes are very quiet and there isnt a light leak tobe found in any of them. The water chiller has the stanleys water at 70 and the brians at 68. I have had no issues so far, they are very well built and they dont use much power, I have all four on a 20 watt breaker. I am just into fruiting with my tomatoes and so far the air scrubbers are getting rid of all smell and my tomatoes plants are looking really healthy. The components are very nice, I believe I got my moneys worth and I paid $16,500 for these beauties. They also came with everything, I didnt have to buy any supplies.

I am not a journal guy, nobody wants to see my tomatoes but I will dig up some pics with the boxes open from before I got them going.

Watch out they will cheat you if they can!!!

I just bought the the Growbox USA LED Silverback. I called and spoke with Mike the owner. After he answered some questions he included every option except the power converter, which I didn't need. I purchased it over the phone and shortly after when I received an email receipt it only included the inside camera option. I ordered an inside and an outside camera, plus a couple of days later before my unit shipped shipping went from a $149 special to free. So I emailed and called and received no reply. When I called on my cell (seems they have called ID) I reach Mike the owner and when he figured out it was me he made an excuse and got off the phone....promising to call back in 10 minutes. Which he didn't do and guess what now I just get voice mail.

So much for the discount to order now!

I have am email which I sent a copy of to him where he says "No worries He'll include it".

Nice cabinet but shady owner!!!

I am about to purchase the silverback from them. My greatest concern is this. I am going with two chamber model, and does the bottom chamber offer me enough height to veg plants, as they will only grow about another 50% taller once in flower, or should I upgrade to one of the duo leds that can switch between veg and flower to continue vegging once moved to upper chamber? Thanks
