I am about to send my application in, and I was told by my clinic if i check indoor and outdoor off it will not make a difference. However I just want to make sure I won't get less of a count if I do so. Or, will it say "X plants outdoor, Y plants indoor" but what if there is a bit going in and out? Only have one summer seasons here so I dont want to sacrifice my plant count for a couple of outdoor plants. Any input is appreciated, my MMAR only had indoor so I've never really seen paperwork for outdoor.

You can do both but you just can't go over your plant count.Say your script is 2 grams a day.You can grow 10 inside OR 4 outside. You can have 8 inside AND 2 outside..their's a calculator that you just put in your grams per day and pick inside or outside or both and it will show what you legally can grow.Google it..i'm not posting a link.

Contacted health Canada , even though says 2 plants per gram for outdoor they are only giving 1 , both agents I called couldn't explain and one agent even said it's 1 but she saw as many as 3 per gram for outdoor , called twice and got these answers

On the MMAR program you where only ever allowed to grow either indoor or outdoor. You couldn't be doing both.

The same is of this program.

5 plants per gram indoor.

Under both the MMAR and the new programme you could grow both indoors and outdoors. Just not at the same time. My MMAR papers allowed me to grow 19 plants indoors during the winter and 5 plants outdoors during the summer. I am covered by the Allard injunction and just harvested my outdoors crop. Now I am cranking up the indoor grow again. I also applied a couple of weeks ago under the new programme and nothing has changed. They will allow indoor plants and outdoor plants. Just not at the same time.

I find it discouraging that people post such bullshit advice. This is from the Health Canada ACMPR site :

A3: Production Area
In this section, please select how you plan to produce the marihuana plants. You can only choose one option.

  • You can produce your marihuana plants entirely outdoors
  • You can produce your marihuana plants entirely indoors
  • You can produce your marihuana plants indoor in winter and outdoors in summer

How can you misunderstand this ? Stop making up bullshit answers about something you know nothing of. It does not help anybody........

What does that calculator have to do with health canada. Where have you seen on health canada website that said you can be outside and indoor simultaneously.
