"ACMPR" Canadain Medical users may now grow there own meds

Your dreams have come true with the ACMPR, on August 24th the Government of Canada made it legal for medical patients to grow there own, after they register with a form available from the Gov, as well as an original Medical document.

Starting materials ie: clones and seeds can / must be bought from licensed producers .... LMAO!!!

So go see your Doc, download the Application and send it on in and wait and see

i will continue black. i dont like the fact they say this is a temporary measure. if i am going to tell the authorities that i am growing in my house i dont want that right taken away in 6 months. if they make no substantial changes with legalization, i will sign up. i have a script, i have a small grow. i will take my chances for now.

I didn't read anywhere that it was temporary, the ACMPR replaces the MMPR, unless I have missed some details I am pretty sure this is it for legal patience, my Dr. recons the Recreational will be legal by the spring.

The ACMPR are designed to provide an immediate solution required to address the Court judgement. These regulatory changes should not be interpreted as being the longer-term plan for the regulation of access to cannabis for medical purposes, which is presently being determined as part of the Government’s commitment to legalize, strictly regulate and restrict access to marijuana.

I would assume that legalization would take more than a year to implement, there are lots of things to Iron out, but when the Legislation is more or less complete I see a benefit to already having registered with Health Canada, either way, unless your already being watched by LEO, and the law gets squashed you will be allowed time to destroy what you have legally grown, and there little to know legal grounds to obtain a warrant to search a property where there is no illegal activity going on.

Choose your own adventure, if you have had a Drug charge in the last ten years your out, or if you have had more than four your out.

atleast once health Canada recognizes you as a med user/ med grower you have a foot to stand on in court. after being on the mmar for almost a decade I'm glad to see the new proposed regs come into play.. ive already seen my dr got a new script and sent my forms to hellth Canada..

Right on! have you found a LP for clones or seeds?

I don't need clones.. I have been covered under mmar and have had my garden going for years... got bubba kush purple candy and super salamander going id grow legal or not as I have for over twenty years.

It changes often lol. My fav was Black Diamond Kush I fuked up and lost the strain and cant find it since...

seems to me with the nearly non stop attack on growers & government insanity nobody should register as a grower,I'd rather stay underground then be on some list that's sure to change every few months

I like the variety as well, with the ability to grow 5 plants indoors it will be nice to have some variety in my stash as well. I am doing all Paradise seeds for my first grow.

Ya there is definitely something to be said about staying underground, this however is a Canada wide, not just provincial. I would imagine in the US where you live it gets complicated with illegal states and legal states, so many silly rules.
