a trick to harvesting time periods?

ok i need to know how to tell by visual inspection when to harvest. i know about lookin at the trichs and seeing when they are milky and amber. for complicated reasons i cant get anything to magnify. so is there a way to look at the bud and know its good is there a sign or is it a guess type thing. or is there a way to make a magnfying glass or a way to see the trichs.

You can post a pic there - or just look through and see the various bud shots and estimates for how long they have. Basically your hairs go from white to red, recede into the calyx and it the calyxes swell. When you think it is ready - wait another week

yeah well i thought it was ready this week about 95% of the hairs are red and and the bud is so dense its like a rock. so i was going to chop this weekend
