A slightly different COB build: 30x10w cool white veg light

The ingredients I used for the build are the following:
1x heatsink from an old pyramid audio amplifier (400mmx50mmx90mm)
2x 80mm x 80mm 12v cpu fans arranged on either end for a push/pull configuration
1x cheap plastic on/off switch
1x +/- 12v out terminal
1x boost converter
1x buck converter
1x dell 275w max continuous psu
2x small heatsinks (to fill unused space.
30x 10w cool white (5,000k-7,000k) 9v-12v LED chips.

The manufacturer specs rated them at 1,000 lumens running at full power, which should give me output of 30,000 lumens. Heres some pics of it turned on:13047911_10153711220331871_5642373475119746069_o.jpg 13086917_10153711220461871_2452946541392125962_o.jpg 13063059_10153711221486871_8710848336824114387_o.jpg

The reason im using a boost converter is that the computer power supply is only rated for 18 amps @ 12v, so i have 20 of them wired to my 12v out and 10 of them are wired to the step up converter and the PSUs 5v out.

Also, you cant see in the pictures but the heatsink has several hollow points in it, which is why im using a push/pull configuration with the cooling fans.
