A question about curing and relative humidity from jar to jar

Lets say I have a large gallon jar that's only a quarter full, and inside this jar the bud is sitting at a nice 62% humidity, curing perfectly. If I am to transfer this same bud into a smaller jar so that it becomes half or more full, will the humidity in this new jar also be 62% or will it be higher? Thanks.

I've been curing for 3 weeks and when in pop the jars it smells like ammonia or something. It's gotten better but it doesn't smell like weed

Open them jars several times a day to let them breath/ burp them. Is the bud moist

No. I dried 6 days I think. Put them in a little too damp. Took them out for 14 hours or so on a table.
Went back in and I think they were a little too dry at that point. Like 60 rh. Got them in now at 62 with bovedas.

I kinda feel like they are too dry but I sampled some and when I pinched it it was sticky still..

Seems to me...you have reduced the volume of "unoccupied" air in the jar, so the humidity would increase. There's a mechanical engineering term for this, but I can't remember enthalpy???
