A male or not a male

Quick question I have some unfemnsied seed that were all planted at the same time. Now most of the 10 are showing white hairs but a few are not. Is it safe to assume these are male plants or and if so how long should I wait. I started reducing the light and am almost at 12 12. Any insight would be greatly appricated

It would be safe to assume, but you really can't tell this early. You should wait until you see pollen sacs.

Quality is making it hard to decide plus it is way to early. In another week the sex will be evident. If you are starting with bagseed they may begin showing sex at different times based on there genetics.

But most of them look like this
Right, but that plant hasn't even determined sex so you are just going to have to wait until the plants ready to show sex. It will likely be another week. Since you don't know the strain it may have a sativa influence causing it to take longer to show sex.

I know the strains its skunk 13 silver haze and amnesia some freebies I had left over I'm just worried don't want to have my crop pollinated and get screwed never really messed with non fem seeds

I'm an auto guy it gives me a 2 month turn around with a smaller operation but needed to shut down for some improvents so I'm burning some of the free seeds I got with the last order usually give them away

You will have plenty of time to catch a male before you have to worry about pollination. That crop there hasn't shown sex so that buys you lots of time to research about males. Also the sacks that the male produces will not usually open until it starts to color at the tip however if you're not breeding it's best to toss that male as soon as you see those sacs to avoid any troubles.

Ok thanks for the info. My light is at 13 11 right now I started taking it down by a half hour a day about a week and a half ago
