A main Cola Only

What if I cut all or nearly all branches leaving a huge main Cola in the height of the plant?

Cut all branches in onetime, 1-2 weeks b4 flowering..

Will work, will send the plant to grave, hermaphroditism, stunt growth?

That's what some people refer to as "lollipopping" because it's like you're growing lollipop nugs out of the dirt. I dunno.

Are you trying to sea of green or just grow monster colas? With sea of green you flower a bunch of little plants lollipopped thus giving you a sea full of green colas. But yes you trim up the lower branches 2 weeks or so before flower but some strains tend to need some pruning in flower too. You can use the snips for clones if you like and do the same thing over.

I just did this yesterday because as usual I let the damn things get too tall. When will I learn? I think you can avoid this if you flower earlier or you train the plants. I have found that training the plants works wonders in every way. That is when I grow smart and train them. Here is a thread where some real training is happening by a great guy and one gell of a grower. This will help you avoid the need to lollipop.
