hi smokers. im about to start 1st grow,but im not sure how to start growing some jack herer cuttings im about to recieve.i have a propagation/cloning tray with clear vented lid,plenty of rockwool blocks,clonex gel and formulex. what kind of light do i need? how warm does it have to be? when can i move clones into my atami wilma hydro setup with 600w hps light.also the guy giving me cuttings has grown his plants in soil,i think he might have rooted em in soil too. should i get fresh clones unrooted so i can do em hydro or does it not matter?plz help

It's best to root cuttings destined for hydro in some inert media, and something that won't fall apart.
For rooting cuttings, moist and warm is best, using fluorescent tubes at 15-20 watts/sqft. Move your plants to your hydro system when roots are growing through the bottom of the starter cube, and there is new foliage growth.
