Day 26 from seed. Changed water today. PH 6.0-6.2, added 1/4 strength nutes (dyna-gro - grow and pro-tekt) about 1 tablespoon of each in a 5 gallon rez.

About 4 hours after the water change this is what I find....

shouldnt you be useing teaspoons instead of tablespoons for your measureing. maybe you should have used 1 tsp. instead of a 1 tbl. i would flush it. somebody on here will know for sure.

yeah i'v got some pro tek. but i used it sparingly until i was for sure about it. my plants were wilting when my room was to cold. even when my closet temps were right. so i bought a little heater and they perked back up. somone on here will know what to tell you. but i think flushing cant hurt.

Just wondering, have you seen any signs of recovery yet?

Nope.. actually alot worse. Im not sure if it will pull through. Any suggestions anyone? I still am not sure if it was the nutes or the water temp when I changed the water.. Any help is much appreciated.

I use dyna gro myself. I was having the same problem that you appear to be having.. Changed my resevoir and in a couple days I saw improvement. Try using about a half teaspoon next time you had your nutes. Not sure if hat will help with your problem but it has mine. No roubles since I sarted mixing my nutes a little weaker.

So you think this is nute burn?

could be from too much heat? Light too close maybe? Do you have a fan going?
I mean they are about 5"-6" from my T5's. Maybe I should move the lights up too. It happened literally a few hours after the water change. Thanks StackB! No fan going but its 71 degrees in the closet.

Yeah, I would give it some time. It should pull out of it. Im growing a snowryder and it started to look the same except with more yellowing. Changed my res and raised my light a few more incehes away from my girl and she is starting to come out of it.

try raising your light a few inches and adding a fan on low speed to get the air moving in there..If the dead leaves are crispy when u touch em, might as well pull em off.

Water temp and level is important. How do you control water temp?
I normally just let it get to room temp, add airstone and thats it. I think the water temp was either too high or low on top of nute burn. I fill the water until it hits the bottom of my net pots. Is that too much water?
