A little AG help please

Hey there i`ve been using my AG for a couple months now on and off as a cloner and now curios to grow some other crops to completion, but haven`t been able to find the needed figure 8 power cord from radioshack. I have a couple stores nearby and have gone on numerous occasions only to come home with a cord that ``looks`` right but will not fit in my AG. I have the space saver 6 model of AG and was curious if anyone out there could point me to someplace online to order this specific cord. I no longer feel the need to drive to radioshack to try everycord that looks light it may fit, my problems have been that the figure 8 side of the cord either is not long enough to fit in the space saver 6 socket, or has squared edges on one side of the 8. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks again for all who write this site is full of awesome growers!!!

Dont' be surprised if the kid at Radio Shack doesn't know what you're talking about. They're usually only one step above the kid taking your order at Burger King and now by virture of a name badge and a tie he's an "electronics expert."

Go the the replacement power cords. It's a regular plug on one end and two molded in rubber female/internal terminals at the other end. When you look at that end of the cord it looks like the number "8"

They're about eight dollars and change and they'll plug into your hood with the two lamp model or the extended lamp cord with the upgraded three lamp model. That's where I got mine. Hope this helps. Hank

-Thanks for the help, although i`m in canada and we have the source here. The part number you suggested unfortunately does not apply there, and I have allready purchased and returned 2 different figure 8 power cords from there without sucess. I have found that the one supplied with AG has a cylindrical profile of the figure 8 the whole length of the fixture, while the ones they sell are more of a smaller figure 8 sitting atop a bigger block, that in turn wont allow the plug to go in all the way. I was hoping somebody else had ran into this problem or had simply found a different supply for the working figure 8 cord. Thanks again for the help every thought counts

Yes i should have no problem ordering the part online if i can find the right code number for it. I also have no problem ordering from distant places although would like to find it somewhere in native Canada. AG is up and running one way or the other but this would drastically improve my grow, once again thanks for all the help.
