Hey guys what's up! I'm new to this and I'm just starting a grow as soon as I have everything set up. I was wondering if anyone has tried growing the super sour kush from seedism I believe and I was wondering which kush I should get, I was considering rp og#18, rp sour kush aka headband, cali con. 818 head band , their og Tahoe and DNA secret sour. Which do you guys recommend? Also I'm considering getting 600w hps and 600 w mh lights. What nutrients should I get, what soil and flushes should I get. I'm new to growing and I've read a lot that some kushs are picky with their nutrients so you experience ladies and gents I would really appreciate your intake and help. Stay blazed!

sO chose those because I love me some sour og and of Course diesel I'm doing this for self reasons so I wanted a strain that I'm going to love with that strong fuel nice look ofc to get high yields I just want something potent and good tasting. But also those strains I found the most reviews and videos of those strains like the 818 looked amazing the og 18 did too but the grapefruit looked amazing too lol I'm just picky and want to pick the right one. I know since its my first time it won't be the best but I have a good feeling

ok cool. the reason I asked is wondering if you considered flower times and any info on how they grow for your plant canopy. I dont know anything about the other strains you've considered other then the HB. It grows thick and sturdy and not to tall (indica bushiness)

What strains have you grown? And which headband have you grown again what characteristic did you get such as smell test and what do you mean by flowering time I was gonna hit it with the 12/12 for about a month or little more then switch it to the 18/6 for flower

I did the CC 818 headband. If you get the right pheno(which you should out of 6 seeds) it's a lovely sour, Limey and fuel funk filled goodie. The taller pheno's seemed to be a little nute sensitive but my keeper was like a bush and had some lovely dense, trich covered and sticky buds. She was quite a hungry lady too. My mate did the Tahoe and didn't seem to have any probs, CC genetics are pretty good.
Are you getting the two bulbs and running them at the same time in one room, or was one for your veg cycle?

I'm planing on running both lights for veg and flower is that a good idea? And was the 818 hard to grow and maintain? That's the one I'm leaning on to the most

Nope, I've seen it too and she does look nice. I've done holy grail and am currently running kosher tangie. Man there's so much good looking weed out there. That blue og I spoke of had such a sweet flavour, I was literally like a kid in a sweet shop. I'll give you a brief run down of what I've grown over the past 15 yrs but will not get them all. Afgani#1, NL,NL blue, white widow, G13 haze, critical kush, sweet afghan delicious(SAD1),Cali orange, blueberry, double berry, blue hash, vanilla kush, super iced grapefruit,og kush,818 headband, diesel, lemon kush, G7, blueberry gum, cheese, blue cheese, Devon cream, critical sensi star, holy grail kush, jack herrer, Apple jack, jack flash................there's lots more but you get the idea?

Yeah, use both the lights if you want as the more light your girls get- the better, just as long as the temp/humidity can be kept steady. At some point though, you are going to want another box/tent to put seedlings/cuttings in so you can maintain production. The headband had a coupe of different pheno types I found, the taller stretchier one was a bit nute sensitive and because of its taller nature I trained the growing tips. The shorter, stockier and more bushy one I had no problems with. It's still quite a big plant. Lovely smoke though

I really want to try that 818 but I think I'm going to wait till I'm more experience I've heard she can be tough to grow so I want to get a nice feeling of what to do and all that so when I do get the 818 i can be 100% positive

Sorry man, I'm not trying to be like the big man or anything - that's not me. I'm just very enthusiastic about the weed, it was interesting to try and reel off all those lovely strains and remember......a walk down memory lane. Critical kush was a fairly decent strain, quite middle of the road in taste and high. Easy enough to grow. At the end of the day if you go down the indica or hybrid route you will find it easier than trying to learn the craft on anything sativa heavy. Short, stocky and easy to deal with is the way. Blue og is a G13 labs strain, nice and sticky- light green with blue hues and odd purple bits running through it. Lip smacking if you get a good pheno and do it justice(not that hard). Another good one for you would be sweet seeds - sweet afghan delicious 1(SAD1) they even do a faster flowering version though , for the sake of a week I'd go with the original.

Ah no don't worry I know you're not trying to be Mr know it all you just love what you do and like to help I can see and I'll give that blue kush a look cause I saw it for dinafem but I didn't check out from g13. I'd also like to know how is it more difficult to grow sativia then indicated? But I completely feel you I love weed and I just want to learn more about her and to try new strains I'm growing for my love of weed for my own pleasure I just want to watch the plant grow give her much love then when she's completely ready break her up with my hands roll a nice fat joint with a bong packed by my side of some good fire potent great tasting weed
